We enjoyed our stay, home was nice and clean. Owner made sure to think of the details. Owner was responsive to messages. I tried to make sure all the towels we clean and dishes before we left, made sure we left their home nice and neat. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing we didn’t appreciate was on the day of checkout we were woken up at 8:30 am to the sound of the lawn mower in the yard. We wanted to sleep in, and would have left at the given check out time. However we left by 9:30am due to all the noise. We would have just appreciated being left alone until the check out time.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found something special. This Airbnb was everything we hoped for and more—beautifully appointed, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. The bed was cozy, the open space with big windows overlooking Main St was amazing. We absolutely loved it! The town itself was lovely! Super friendly residents, and filled with lots of charm. We visited many local shops, and restaurants. Every recommendation from our host was spot-on. We were in town for a wedding at Mount Vernon Estate and wanted to stay downtown where we could be close to shops & taverns. My husband along with our daughter & her husband all agreed the town is super cute and the loft was truly wonderful. The home had the perfect blend of comfort and character— we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We hope to make it back there again someday! 10 out of 10 - Highly recommend!

I had such a wonderful stay! The house was super cute and cozy—I truly felt right at home. The decor and layout were so thoughtfully done; everything felt comfortable, welcoming, and full of charm. I even snapped a few photos to use as inspiration for my own space! Melinda is an outstanding host—responsive, kind, and clearly puts a lot of care into creating a great experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed place to stay.

Very quiet area and unique building. Felt comfortable and spacious inside. Having a basement with games was an extra perk.
