A pretty 1 bedroom gîte with off road parking believed to date back to the 1730s, and situated in one of France's ‘petite cité de caractère' Nanteuil-en-Vallée. With its attractive mix of stone and half-timbered houses, Nanteuil is on the chemin de Saint Jacques de Compostelle pilgrims walk, and contains the remains of a 12th century Benedictine Abbey. The village has two restaurants, both include a bar, there is a village shop selling local produce and a weekly market on Wednesdays.

Brand new and very bright country house

The house in Blanzac is brand new, with two independent levels. You will be on the ground floor, the land being sloping. It is located at the top of the village (and not in the village as on the map). Entrance, large living room, 1 master bedroom (1.60 m bed) with ensuite bathroom, and 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140 cm) and 2 bunk beds, with shower and sink in the bedroom. Very bright, full west, swimming pool and superb views of the countryside.

Criteuil la Magdeleine: lovely place

Small accommodation on the edge of the village of Criteuil, with the vineyards in perspective. It has one floor, and a miller's staircase to access the bedroom (unsuitable for young children or people with mobility difficulties). Quiet place, 10 km from Barbezieux (all shops). The sea is about an hour away. Quality restaurant in the village The independent accommodation is adjacent to our home. It's a very simple but well-equipped place to stay.

The Gîte de la Vivetrie is an annex of our main house of 70 m2. Located in the heart of the South Charente countryside, 8 km from Barbezieux Saint Hilaire and close to the vineyards. Enjoy the tranquility of the premises in a 3000 m² property that is fully fenced and has no neighbors. From May to September enjoy our sun-exposed pool In addition, don't hesitate to book a relaxing moment directly at the cottage or by the pool with our masseuse.

Our cottage is located in a mill on the beautiful river La Dronne. It is a very spacious apartment (55 m2) fully renovated. A bedroom with a view of the river, and a beautiful terrace overlooking it. Direct access to the river for swimming or canoeing that we provide. Please note that the staircase leading to the gîte is quite narrow and steep and is not suitable for people with disabilities as well as for some people with limited mobility
