House vacation rentals in Certaldo

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

"Perfect" is the only word that comes to mind for Anna's place. Such a serene location and perfect for a family. The view is just spectacular. We felt so at home and loved sitting out in the yard and by the pool. Anna provided us with a list of so many amazing things to do/see near and far. A must do is the pasta making with Vilma at the house-the most memorable and delicious meal from our trip! Can't wait to go back there to live more of the Tuscan life and enjoy the most beautiful view. Thank you, Anna, for hosting such a gem!

Excelente estadía, ¡superó mis expectativas! Tuvimos una maravillosa experiencia durante nuestra estancia. El alojamiento estaba impecablemente limpio, bien equipado y se veía tal como en las fotos. La cama era muy cómoda y el lunar tranquilo, ideal para descansar. La ubicación fue perfecta! Los anfitriones fueron muy amables y atentos, siempre disponible para responder cualquier duda y brindar recomendaciones locales. La comunicación fue fluida desde el primer momento. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí. ¡Altamente recomendado para quienes buscan comodidad, limpieza y una atención excelente!

Martina’s entire estate is very peaceful and extremely beautiful. Just remember that it is really off the beaten path. She was so passionate about the property and making people feel right at home. It was one of the more beautiful places we stayed in all of Italy. Make sure to bring food up there with you before going. It is at least 35 min to town, but this is one of those places it is almost not worth leaving. Wish we had more time to stay there.

Hier ist die überarbeitete Version mit dem Zusatz zur Umgebung und dem Wunsch, wiederzukommen: ⸻ Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, idyllischen Gegend und ist perfekt, um abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Das Haus war sauber und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Alltag braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Ilaria war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert – alles hat super geklappt. Das Highlight ist der große, sehr gepflegte Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen – ein richtig schönes, grünes Paradies. Der Pool macht das Ganze noch besser. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in Lyndalls Haus in Lecchi in Chianti! Das Grundstück, das Haus und der Pool waren sogar größer und schöner als erwartet. Die Landschaft ist traumhaft – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet, sodass wir fast jeden Tag gekocht haben. Auch die Restaurant-Empfehlung im Ort war ein Volltreffer. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank, Lyndall!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem absolut niedlichen Haus, das inmitten atemberaubender Natur liegt. Die Ruhe ist einzigartig – man hört nur das Zwitschern der Vögel, und hin und wieder zeigen sich Rehe am Waldrand. Einfach magisch! Der Pool war top gepflegt und man hatte richtig Ruhe. Ein echtes Highlight war für uns die Küche: So liebevoll eingerichtet und außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet – das haben wir so noch nie erlebt! Der Gasherd und der hochwertige Backofen haben das Kochen zu einem Vergnügen gemacht. Gastgeber Diego war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich bei ihm sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ein perfekter Rückzugsort für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und liebevolle Details zu schätzen wissen.

Wonderful home for our family of four including a one year old and three year old. Authentic, private, clean and in an amazing location with a beautiful view. This was our favourite Airbnb of all time.

Absolutely gorgeous property with country side view and a cozy outdoor area, plus two friendly black cats! Louise was the perfect host: friendly, generous, attentive, she even offered to help us out when we had a setback that was totally unrelated to our stay at her property. Highly recommend to any traveller seeking an idyllic stay in the Tuscan countryside!

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

Stella nos recebeu muito bem, foi simpática e prestativa. A casa estava muito limpa e organizada. O espaço e aconchegante. O lugar é extraordinário, muito bonito, com natureza exuberante e uma vista maravilhosa. Stella recomendou lugares para visitar e restaurantes da região que gostamos muito. Miriam’s place is picture perfect - we felt like we were in a movie. The house has everything you could need and is very clean. There is another rental property attached to the house so there are other people close by but there are separate entrances to each place. The pool is a nice addition. The views are spectacular and Miriam was an extremely helpful host. Highly recommend this property if you want the perfect Tuscan experience.

Onwijs fijn appartement dat goed koel blijft tijdens warme dagen. Uitzicht vanaf het prive terras was adembenemend en het appartement was smetteloos schoon. Alles behalve een weegschaal om de koffer te wegen was aanwezig, echter die was binnen een half uur geleend van de ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaresse (die overigens olijfolie en honing van eigen kweek aanbiedt).

Great location only 2 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Accommodation is airy and well equipped with its own lovely garden giving you a great place to relax so close to the centre. Francesca was always available and made us feel very welcome. Have already recommended this property to our friends.

This has to be one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed it. The accommodation was luxurious in an absolutely stunning area of Tuscany. The rolling fields and cypress tree made a spectacular setting for this beautiful house. We had hired a car and this place was a 20 minute drive from Siena. Our only regret was not staying here longer.

Such a wonderful gem of a place to stay. Views were top notch and all within walking to our favorite dinner restaurants and town center. Just an amazing experience and location. Rossana was a great host- very communicative. She decorated her place with really nice special touches. We will return!

Ein Toskanischer Traum. An manchen Tagen musste ich mich kneifen um zu begreifen das ich nicht in einem Film bin. Meine Freundin und ich haben eine wunderbare Zeit in der Region und auch im Haus gehabt. Es war sauber und ordentlich. Die Küche war einzigartig und wir haben gerne auch draußen gegrillt. Wir haben es einfach genossen und uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Endlich mal Entspannung und Ruhe, die man nur noch selten erlebt. Vielen Dank für das Vertrauen über dieses wunderbare Stückchen Toskana. Für alle Ruhe suchenden oder Menschen die wirklich erleben wollen was Toskanischer Flair bedeutet ein Pflichtziel. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tommaso was very responsive and fantastic! Check in was a breeze. The pool was great. Overall, it was a great stay for our trip in Tuscany!

Sylvia was an amazing host from the beginning! She came to meet us at the check-in and made sure all our needs were met any time of the day. She was very sweet and made us feel right at home! The place has a very nice hot tub facing the mountains and it gave us some beautiful sunset views! 10/10 would recommend!

It gave us exactly what we needed, a private and calm place to relax with a beautiful view, lots of space by the pool, around the garden, and if we wanted to be on our own, in our separate space. The hosts were really friendly and had great suggestions for places to go and always were responsive in case we needed anything, but they also gave us the space we needed – just what we were looking for. Great stay. Paola’s place is very clean, perfect size and layout of the rooms on different levels. Great garden to relax in the evening. Paola is very friendly and responsive at any time, same the neighbours, so nice, warm and authentic people. Location is fantastic, quite a few villages are worthy visiting and within 30-45 minutes away. Siena and Florence are not far at all, but of course you need a car. View is like in movies, property is surrounded by endless wines and olive trees. Simply unforgettable vacation.

Een geweldig goed huis op een toplocatie. Werkelijk alles was aanwezig. Wat te denken van twee badkamers en drie toiletten. Airco’s in alle ruimtes. Een hele grote tuin. Je auto veilig achter elektrische toegangspoorten (met privé afstandsbediening). Een schone jacuzzi met uitzicht op San Gimignano. Heerlijk om na een drukke dag in Florence af te koelen. Je kunt iedere dag genieten van de vogelgeluiden en de hagedissen op de schutting. Tips: - Ga je naar Florence parkeer je auto op “parcheggio Scandicci” en ga voor €3,40 heen en weer met de tram naar het centrum. Hiermee voorkom je dure ZTL boetes. - Parkeren in Certaldo aan de andere kant van het spoor is gratis. Je kunt via een tunnel aan de voorzijde van het station komen. Na 5 minuten rechtdoor lopen kun je met de kabelbaan naar Certaldo Alto. - De COOP in Certaldo is top, die in Montespertoli is wat rommeliger en minder uitgebreid - Op 5 kilometer rijden kun je een “wine and tasting” doen bij A Solatio. GEWELDIG!

Bianca is one of the best hosts I ever encountered. She is very friendly, welcoming and social. She is very passionate about her house and guests. She treated us like friends and I think we already became friends for life. Her house is very special, magical, clean and beautiful. Its very spacious felt right at home and had everything we needed. Its private and peaceful yet walking distance from Grassina town down the hill, around 10 minutes walk. The town has everything you need from restaurants to bars, Farmacia, little boutique shops and beauty salons. The location is perfect and outside the city but only 20-30 minutes from Florence. I am defiantly coming back to this place.
