Places to stay in Castellina in Chianti

Beautiful apartment located close by to the Christmas Markets, which was very nice. It is also close to the parking lots. The apartment is very quiet, you actually wake up with the sound of birds, not kidding. Finally, a beautiful cafe is located next to the apartment making our stay very amazing.

Stayed for 6 nights at Taddea loft and had a great experience. The space is updated and clean. Kitchen has everything needed for quick meals or something more in depth. Appreciated having the TV to relax after a long day of walking. The bathroom is large and having the extra half bath upstairs in the loft is helpful, as the stairs are quite steep. It does get a bit noisy on the street outside at night but it was manageable. Check in and check out were easy!

Umberto is an incredible host with an incredible Airbnb. Location was perfect and the rooftop terrace had the most incredible 360° view of Florence. Would most certainly stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights in Poggio Muleti and enjoyed it a lot. The location is great and the view of San Gimignano is simply magical. The communication with Valentina was quick and straightforward via airbnb, with Barbara - despite our lack of Italian knowledge - warm. We felt very comfortable, especially because of the down-to-earthness that Poggio Muleti radiates. Thanks for the hospitality!

Having a glass of wine on the deck after a long day and looking out onto the Duomo is well worth the climb to stay in this beautiful apartment! It’s rare to find an apartment with an outside area in the middle of the city to relax and enjoy! If you were any closer, you’d be in the Duomo!! Thanks for a great day. Lorenzo was wonderful.

Lovely apartment in a quiet area. Tatiana met us to check in which was very helpful. Lots of local cafes near by with friendly locals. Just a short walk to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi etc. Highly recommended.

Definitely i will reserve at Numa next time.

This small old house in the 12th-13th century medieval village is tastefully furnished and excellently equipped. We think the two bathrooms are a big bonus, it was very useful for us. In addition, we would highlight the equipment of the kitchen and the quality of the bed mattresses.The host lady lives right next to the accomodation, a few steps away, which gives security. She was very flexible and patient with our late arrival. You can only park a little further from the house, but it seemed safe and a short walk would not hurt.Overall, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic stay.
