Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Casco Bay

Our son, his girlfriend, my husband and I enjoyed staying at the cottage in late October 2024. The location was quite scenic as it overlooked Casco Bay, near Portland, ME. The host made suggestions that we followed (bringing firewood & blankets). The kitchen was equipped with utensils & coffeemakers. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed walking in the local preserve along the water and took advantage of visiting the Portland Museum of Art and eating at The Honey Paw, an Asian fusion restaurant.

Stayed at Bethany's place for a long weekend at the end of the season. The location is unbeatable, the house is situated on its own little peninsula in a stunning cove; it feels very private and has amazing views of the water. There's tons of outdoor space and seating, along with several kayaks. The house itself is clean, quiet, and peaceful, although it's definitely small--probably best for one or two people, or a couple with a small child. Access is down an unpaved road but Bethany's very clear instructions made it easy to find, and she was responsive to any questions we had. Harpswell abounds with areas to hike and explore, lots of good places to eat (though you will definitely need a car) and is less than an hour from Portland and only half an hour from Freeport.

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We unexpectedly had beautiful cloudless days most of the week. Great location & easy to get to the Harbor and Southport both of which we enjoyed! Recommend the Carriage House for a really top quality meal as well as Blue Moon Cafe (good lobster roll) which was one of Shirin’s recommendations. Would totally stay here again!!

This is such a beautiful space! Very cozy and tucked away in a residential area. The home felt safe and was very close to downtown Freeport, where there are great options for food/beverage and shopping.

We had a great stay. The location was perfect for accessing a number of great locations, Peter was friendly and helpful, and we felt the AirBnB was equipped with everything we could have needed.

Great location close to downtown Portland. Lots of walkable places close by for coffee and breakfast. A little farther to some unique restaurants. We Uber'd a lot which worked out great to avoid parking around Portland. We would definitely secure this nice place the next time we come to Portland!

The place was great! very cozy and comfortable with a great location to so many beautiful state parks in an adorable town. Awesome that it's so close to Portland even though it felt like a world away because of how adorable the town is. the hosts were great, Deborah was so Incredibly sweet and offered so many fantastic restaurant and food recommendations (we followed several of them!). They had so many things available for you just in case you forget something (even umbrellas and rain coats!) Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

We needed a place for my son’s externship. Setup for a long stay and feel like home. All the amenities made for an easy tradition to have everything provided and setup beyond expectations. Super quick and kind with any questions and concerns. Would highly recommend anyone to stay at this listing. A east walk to downtown and any site seeing.

141 Studio was perfect for a couple for a few days near downtown Portland. The studio is great. Dan has renovated it in great style. The kitchen was great for our purposes. The layout of the studio was great for our purposes. Having the washer and dryer was extremely helpful and made our 10 day total trip work well. I cannot say enough good things about the studio and Dan's preparation of it. The scale only goes to five, but it is a ten. Thank you Dan.

The apartment was very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again if we’re ever back in Portland.

Great stay! Location is perfect for everything we wanted to do, be by the water, stay right next to downtown, and a short walk from our tour with Eco Adventures. Furniture was very comfortable and everything was clean. Great restaurants in the area. Would return back!

This was our second stay with Emily in less than a month. Just as comfortable and convenient as the first time. We hope to book her space again for the holidays this year.

A perfect stay. The place is super located and you can easily explore Portland on foot. There are many restaurants etc. nearby, the selection is great. Sharon and Eric were perfect hosts and we felt completely comfortable. The accommodation is very clean and has everything you need. The private parking space is also a big plus. Thank you Sharon & Eric for a great stay and for making us feel at home. We will be back!

Wonderful little spot very close to the beach. Plenty of places to walk to from the location as well as a short drive to Old Orchard Beach. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

This cute little cottage was perfect for my stay in Old Orchard Beach. My stay was in cold January but the cottage was warm and cozy. The highlight was being steps from the beach and being able to roll out of bed and catch the sunrise each morning.

We had a great time! The condo is clean, cozy, and comfortable. I highly recommend this AirBnB, especially for the beach proximity.

We loved our stay! The space is beautiful and cozy. The walk to the family friendly beach was just the right distance for my 4yo. The neighborhood is adorable and friendly! With an amazing bakery and ice cream shop just around the corner! Dave was a great host and took great care of us.
