Monthly Rentals in Carves

This month-long stay was beyond anything we could have ever imagined- magical, beautiful, and incredibly well cared for. Morgane was the best host and was super responsive to queries throughout our entire stay. She went out of her way to bring us packages and to pick us up and drop us off at the train station. We did not rent a car and we were able to get around to all surroundings areas through an amazing trail network. The amenities were fantastic and the house itself was clean and super cozy. The water pressure and shower was great and we loved having access to a washing machine. The mattress was comfortable (like sleeping on a cloud) and the blackout shades available in every room were incredible. We both work remotely and the internet upload/download speed was phenomenal and we were able to work without any issue. We are definitely looking forward to coming back in the future as this was the perfect introduction to Dordogne.

We had a wonderful time at David's place. It's beautiful, everything is new and with amazing views from the back porch, great for sunbathing in the evenings. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with an induction hob, tactile extractor hood, washing machine, dishwasher and all the necessary cooking utensils, it even has a nespresso machine with some coffee capsules that are to be appreciated. Two very nice bathrooms, one with shower and one with bathtub and a separate toilet. The beds are super comfortable. Double glazing on doors and windows that kept the house well insulated giving it a lot of comfort with the central heating. The location is perfect for getting to know the Black Perigord region as the most emblematic villages and castles are very close to each other. Would recommend this house 100%

Enjoy your stay in the sheepfold, on the other hand, a rather suitable accommodation for summer / spring stays given the brightness and insulation missing. Otherwise the experience is as described!

We had a great week at Anne's. The accommodation is very well located, a few minutes walk to the village. In the house, everything is there to feel at home, with very comfortable bedding. A beautiful place that we will remember for a future visit!
