Monthly Rentals in Carrabelle

This place met all my expectations for a stay in a vintage camper. Host Pam has an eye for cool things that celebrate the "forgotten coast" both natural and artistic. Not glam but no such pretensions! The Airstream might be a little tight for larger people.

This place is underrated, the pictures don’t do it justice. Huge porch off the back of house, fire pit in the back yard and the most beautiful inlet off the main river with amazing access to the ocean/river, & surrounding estuaries. Long dock takes you right out to the estuary and less than 5 minutes from boat landings. Will not stay at another place when we visit Carrabelle. Great all the way around.

What a gem Helen’s property is!!! From the beautiful gardens, which I meditated and did yoga in each morning before dawn to the deck over looking the ocean, to watching sunrise with our coffee, we couldn’t have asked for a more rejuvenating space. The private beach is just that. We only saw 2 people on it the whole week and that was in the evening during low tide. We frolicked in the water daily as if we hadn’t a care in the world. The public beach (a very short drive down the road) is still very quiet, but there are a few people to stop and chat with about the dolphins showing off in the water and nature’s beauty. Helen is so kind and sweet, responding to our needs but never hovering. Puppy, who is friendly and calm, meandered over to say hi daily, and Plywood (a beautiful cat) would stop as if to say hi but never come too close. This is a magical space that we will forever hold in our hearts.

Great place to stay. We were there a month. I was most impressed with how quiet it was. Neighbors weren't noisy. There was very occasional traffic noise. Even a thunderstorm wasn't especially loud! This is a great space for a couple. Groceries across the street. I'd recommend the Fisherman's Salad at the Fisherman's Wife restaurant! We had an initial concern about parking permits, but that was cleared up. If we're ever back in the area, I would stay again
