An awesome location in a quaint seaside community. Good amenities and space for many guests!

We were looking for a beach getaway, but at the some time wanted a private pool (since you never know about the weather). Barney’s place did not disappoint. The week had lots off on and off rain, which gave us plenty of opportunity to use the pool between rain. The beach is about 10-15 minutes away. There are plenty of places to eat, get ice cream and enjoy mini golf nearby. Also, Wilmington is only about 35 minutes away. We plan to stay here again.

We live in Hickory and needed just a couple quick days away during my daugther's App State spring break. It was perfect! The space was adorable, you could see the beach from the porch, and you could walk to whatever you needed. The town of Kure Beach was so welcoming and we met so many people! We will definitely be back.

Great location right across the street from the beach. There’s a beautiful pool and basement with bathroom and lounge space that we didn’t use but would be great for a family. Though sheets were provided we had to make our beds when we arrived and bath towels are not provided. Would be nice if bath towels were included and the beds were ready to be used upon check in. Otherwise, a perfect spot to relax during a shell hunting vacation.

We stayed at Rebecca's place for a weekend and loved it! My girls were comfortable and had fun even thought it was rainy for part of our stay. Rebecca was super nice and even let me know I had left some items behind. The place was cozy and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has a 'beachy' feel to it and we felt relaxed and in beach mode the second we walked in. The path to the beach was right across the street from the house and the beach location is hard to beat....simply magnificent. Everything we needed from Publix to restaurants was just minutes away. Shannon and I highly recommend this home and we are sure to be back soon! Glenn

I stayed for a long weekend with my mother and six year old daughter and we all loved it. It was extremely clean and comfortable. We really appreciated how communicative the hosts were, going out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful visit to Carolina Beach. The house was spacious, beautiful and immaculate. We strolled the few blocks to the beach daily. The owners graciously helped us locate a tire repair shop as we had a flat tire shortly before arriving. The area was inundated with 20” of rain several days before we arrived. It was shocking how quickly the businesses recovered.

We had an amazing stay at Carolina Beach! Jill’s place was outstanding, with many amenities and cleanliness and affordability. Jill was absolutely AMAZING with communication, the best communication I’ve had compared to previous Air BnB experiences. With the tropical storm coming in this week we were able to receive a partial refund so we could leave early, thank you Jill for the great cancellation policy! Check in and check out was very easy and clear. Carolina beach is beautiful and Jill made the trip so easy for us! I HIGHLY recommend staying here!!!

Great location for restaurants and all that is happening in historic Wilmington. Patio was quiet and made for a relaxing morning sitting with our coffee. Dog loved the yard and we appreciated that it was fenced. The house is decorated in a very nice, comfortable manner and all the kitchen equipment was new. Loved the record player and records. Added to the fun of our stay. Great place. Highly recommended!

The Yellow Cottage was our top choice for this area based on affordability, privacy, and most importantly- it was perfect for our puppies. The home was very welcoming. Within minutes of unloading our car, my wife and I felt that we could immediately sit down and relax from our long drive while our dogs stretched their legs in the backyard. That kind of feeling is hard to describe fully in words and hard to come by on top of that. The host, Joseph, promptly responded and addressed a couple issues we had during our stay. He went beyond the call of duty with his assistance which was much appreciated. We’re definitely staying here again in the future!

Picturesque location with cozy beach vibes. My daughters loved the beach cabin feel. My son loved riding around in the golf cart exploring the island and fishing. The bedroom above the garage is perfect for the in-laws. 10 out of 10 experience.

This place was immaculate and well updated. Extremely comfortable and a beautiful walk looking at historic homes to downtown area. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

We loved the house and the proximity to the beach. We only walked to the beach once for the sunrise, but spent the rest of the time in the house. We loved that each room was spacious, clean, and had a bathroom for each room.

The space was exactly as described and Diane was super responsive and helpful. The kids loved the hot tub, there were tons of unexpected amenities (waffle maker! Cupcake liners!) which made for more breakfast and snack options. Be sure to plan for renting a car - while there is a nice restaurant next door, you’ll need it to get around. I would recommend planning a stop to the carnivorous plant garden while you’re in town!

Had a perfect weekend. Home is beautiful, comfortable, AMAZING sunrises, relaxing hottub, just a few steps to the ocean, very private. So nice not having to drag coolers etc to the beach. Just carry a chair and a beverage for a lovely day. Walk a few steps back to house if you need anything.

Bryan's place definitely felt like a little home away from home on the beach. It's a quaint cottage, packed with essentials and was just the right size for us two. I was very thankful for its size and no stairs when I unfortunately sprained my ankle on day 2 of our vacation and had to hobble around in crutches the rest of the time! Even though you're right off the main road, there was no noise and was pretty quiet and peaceful. Beach access is right down the road and very easily walkable, or hobbable. The hot tub was a great plus to relax in after a long night. Bryan was very communicative and prompt with questions we had prior to booking. Check-in was very easy and check-out instructions were very reasonable and clear. Overall a great stay that we would definitely book again!

This place was perfect and so cute! We had everything we needed and the kids loved the hot tub! Kristy was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house! It was in the perfect location — just a short walk to the beach, which made everything so easy. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. We used the hot tub every day and it was such a relaxing way to wind down. The beds were really comfortable and everyone slept great. We spent our evenings watching movies together and cooking meals — the kitchen had plenty of dishes and tools to make that easy. We had to find this place last minute, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The host was so nice and responsive to any needs we had. It really made the experience stress-free. Would definitely stay here again!
