Had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. perfect for a weekend with friends. Great location from the beach, and the host was responsive and made everything easy. Would definitely stay again!

We had the best beach vacation at Kristin’s place. The house was just as described and very well stocked with just about everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was one of best for folks like us who cook most meals - plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and lots of dishes. Beds were all super comfy. And the use of the beach towels, chairs, sun shades and toys were WONDERFUL saving us precious packing space in the car. Kristin was very helpful with all my questions. 10 out of 10! Next time we are headed to the beach, this is the first place I will try to book. Thank you!

We really enjoyed the stay! The pool was great, being right on the beach and near the boardwalk was wonderful and Carolina beach wasn’t too crazy! The only thing to be aware of is there are a lot of stairs with this house

This home is so wonderful. It's clean, updated, spacious, and comfortable. The setup is awesome for multiple families or a large family (one king beds suite on the top floor near the kitchen and living areas, then one king suite on the middle floor next to three other bedrooms and another bathroom). We so enjoyed evenings on the rooftop, playing cards on the porch, grilling poolside, the bikes and pool toys provided...and of course being two blocks from beach access! There are little touches that make it feel homey and relaxing - nice decor, guest book, well-stocked kitchen utensils, the big TV in the living room, etc. We enjoyed it so much, we plan to return next year. Thank you. We loved it so much, we already plan to go back.

We had an amazing stay! The home was new, clean and beautiful! There was plenty of room, especially with the decks! It met our needs perfectly! We loved all of the activities in the fun yard! It was the best one in the area! We also enjoyed how close we were to the beach! Drew responded quickly to my questions before our stay, which I really appreciated. He was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, if we vacation in Oak Island in the future.

Darlene was a fantastic host! She communicated quickly when I had any questions. Her house was probably one of the best stocked AirBnBs that we've stayed at. The pool was so private, I knew we had neighbors, but could not see them. The house was perfect for our family! We loved Carolina Beach!

Our expectations were beyond met staying here. The location is great being able to walk to the beach and boardwalk in 5 mins. The home was very clean and ascetically pleasing. Minimal and free of clutter with nice decor. Lots of great amenities including pool and grill. Would love to return for a future stay.

Five Stars All the Way! We had the most incredible stay at Vaycash on Bald Head Island! From the moment we walked in, it felt less like a rental and more like staying at a dear friend’s beautiful home. Stef has thought of everything—the home is gorgeously decorated, full of charm, and stocked with more amenities than any place we've ever stayed. This was hands-down the most above-and-beyond experience we’ve ever had with an Airbnb. Every detail was thoughtfully done—from the fully equipped kitchen (a dream to cook in!) to the peaceful, tucked-away location in the woods that gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The golf cart made exploring the island a breeze, and the kids were thrilled with the bikes and kayaks. Stef’s generosity and attention to detail made this getaway truly special—we didn’t want to leave! We can’t recommend Vaycash highly enough and are already dreaming about our next visit.

My fiancé and I have been wanting to do a beach trip with our dog, Moo, for quite some time. We decided to book Tina's place on a whim just a few days before heading down and we are SO glad we did it! Tina offered flexible check in (even as early as 9am) and check out times, allowing us to maximize our time there. Since we work remotely, this was a HUGE plus for us - we were able to travel early to arrive by 9am instead of waiting until after work hours to travel. Tina was responsive and checked in, but was not overbearing. The house is the perfect size for two + a dog. It had everything we needed for 3 full days. We loved sitting outside in the chairs and laying in the hammock while we watched Moo explore the yard. We were a short walk from the beach, making it easy to go back and forth. Using the outdoor shower after our beach days felt AMAZING. We slept like rocks in the large bed in the bedroom. We will definitely book again. Thanks, Tina!!

Wow! Loved this sweet, chic beach cottage, very short walk to the beach, where we saw some serious surfing. House is super clean and comfy, and the host thought of everything -- king beds, great kitchen setup, and every beach toy you can imagine. Did a lot of reading and relaxed on the big front porch -- it's on a quiet residential street where you can hear the ocean a block away but lots of birdsong, too. Closer to Kure than Carolina, which we liked. Spent an evening watching the sunset at Fort Fisher and another checking out the historic boardwalk at Carolina Beach. New fave beach rental: we will be back!

We had the best time!! We were able to bring our boat and park it at the boat dock. I will say if you have a bigger boat I don’t know if you will be able to park there all weekend, but not a far drive at all to a boat ramp. The place was very clean and had all the things you will need! There is even dog toys and a bed! Betsy was super helpful and nice. We will definitely come and stay many more times.

stayed June 7th-14th 2025 and we had a great vacation. house was on the beach and walkable to the resturants and boardwalk. would recommend and stay again.

The house was exactly as pictured & Beata was so friendly & easy to communicate with. The house was very clean (by far the most clean pet-friendly home we have stayed in). You would have no idea it was pet friendly if you were traveling without four legged children. We can’t wait to return next year!

Our hosts were amazing. There was a couple of big storms that tripped the breaker and they quickly let us know where the breaker is. Will even offered to swing by to help if needed! The place was clean and beautiful. The internet went out due to the storms,, but there was so much to do - and we could walk pretty much anywhere! Everyone was talking about coming back 💕

Nice quiet neighborhood but close to shops/restaurants/beach. Very clean. Felt right at home. Nice, large fenced in backyard. I put my dog on a long lead because she’s very small and curious and I didn’t want her getting under the deck or behind the shed. Beds are comfy!!!

We loved our stay in Carolina Beach! This house is a GEM - so clean, literally steps from the beach, and slept 9 adults very comfortably! This was one of the best stocked Airbnb kitchens I’ve ever stayed in. Lindsey thought of everything. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Would highly recommend booking!

The 5 of us old high school pals had a stupendous time. Tons of laughter on the deck overlooking the water. Great views! The cottage had everything we needed!

Being on the beach was awesome! We enjoyed sunrises from the hot tub, going right down our stairs to the sand, walks to the pier, evenings on the deck… It was the perfect setting for our little reunion! The house is clean and comfortable with everything you might need. Location is also super convenient to food & coffee & seafood market. The only surprises were that our space was attached to another house (neighbors were very quiet, respectful, and friendly) and that we had to make our own beds upon arrival and remove bedding before check out. Overall, Emily’s house made our time with people we love even more fun & easy! She was a communicative, helpful host and we appreciate her sharing her home!

We rented this house for a week to share with our kids and grandkids. It fit our needs perfectly and we had a great time! It was a nice layout for family, a short walk to the beach, a bit farther to the shops but we actually preferred that. We borrowed a golf cart from a friend and rode our bikes so not an issue. The house had all the amenities we needed for a lovely stay. Matt and Shawn were very friendly and responsive to all of our questions. It would have been helpful to have directions for using the elevator before we started unloading the cars. That’s it! It was a memorable week!

My family had an amazing stay! The home was very clean and looks brand new. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the property. There’s a cafe/convenient store beside the house. If your capable there’s shops, restaurants, ice-cream, beach bars, etc. within a 20-35 min walk. We loved driving down to Kure beach pier (10 minute drive) nightly and spent most evenings walking the boardwalk area, strolling on the pier, and fishing. There were plenty of linens, cookware, and beach gear available at the property. We enjoyed the rooftop balcony, as it had great views of harbor and ocean. The area felt safe and quite at night. Lots of people biking, running, & walking from early morning to late night. Only drawback for us was the parking area. It’s tight, and large/wide vehicles struggle to park or turn around in the parking area especially if you bring the max vehicles aloud. Overall, I highly recommend!! It was an exceptional stay!

This place is the epitome of peace. Highly recommend this property for so many reasons - great location right off main highway, beautiful view with steps to the beach, nice accomodations with thoughtful touches and best of all, very sweet and helpful hosts, Robert and Emeric. Would love to return and stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay at this home for a special family celebration! The house was even more spacious than it appeared in the photos, with plenty of room for our group of adults and young children to relax and enjoy. The short walk to the beach access made it super convenient, and the location was ideal for everything we needed. Matthew was an outstanding host—responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure the house was equipped with everything we needed, and when a small issue came up, he responded quickly with helpful solutions. We’d absolutely book again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed Carolina/Kure beach getaway!

Fish Tales was a fantastic stay! The host was phenomenal at communicating with us before we even officially finished booking. The space was spacious, clean, and beautiful! It exceeded our expectations and truly helped make our weekend enjoyable.

Our stay was perfect! Being basically across the street from the beach made it so convenient to carry everything to the beach for the day. The house was peaceful and clean. The outside was so cute and great for pictures! Keeping this place saved for another trip sometime.
