We had a wonderful stay at the Hidden Villa. It was exactly as advertised and Marc was a great host. The space was perfect for us and our two fur babies. It is centrally located and minutes from everywhere we needed to be. We’d definitely stay there again when visiting family in San Diego❤️

This home was perfect for our vacation! very kid/family friendly- he has cribs, baby gates, utensils and plates for kids, lots of books. View was amazing, and is about 15 from everything!

Great older house in a nice residential area, walking distance to the beach and downtown Oceanside. We needed the space and washer/dryer because we were visiting for our kids' soccer tournament (unfortunately we discovered the water heater wasn't working, which was a bummer, but we worked with the host to try to get it up and running, and survived the cold showers : 0 ). Would definitely consider renting again.

My family stayed here for a few days while in town for a reunion, what a great place! The house is very comfortable with plenty of room for three people, a fully functional kitchen, and a porch with a stunning view of the woods surrounding the house. The neighborhood was safe and very hip, and easy to walk around. John recommended the ice cream place nearby and it did not disappoint. The house is also very close by to the museums in Balboa Park, and a very easy drive to several nearby beaches. Communication with John and his son was easy and immediate, they were great hosts! I would definitely recommend staying here!

We were very happy with the place! Bigger than expected and very comfortable! We loved the location because we could pretty much be anywhere in 15 min. The kids loved the game closet (so many!!!) and the treehouse. We enjoyed the Viking stove and spacious kitchen. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fine. Grill wasn't working but we let the management company know. Parking was easy. Washer/Dryer was new and easy to use. Single cup coffee machine was a little tedious. Neighborhood is very quiet and calm. There is a great view of the bay from the house. Liberty station is notorious for airplane noise so be ready for plane noise starting at 6:30am sharp as they are creating their new runway at SAN. The planes stop at around 10pm so its very quiet for sleeping. Most days the planes were taking off right overhead. One day they were landing instead because of the fog and that was a little quieter. It was exciting watching them take off from the upper balcony. We all got used to it.

A wonderful condo on the Bayside of Mission Bay. It was a lovely spot where our three year old could play in the sand within eyeshot of the patio and swing. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and a public parking lot nearby with more roomy parking (although our minivan did eventually fit into the garage space). Really appreciated the extra beach chairs and sand toys. Check in and check out were a breeze! Great place! Would like to stay again!

Beautiful property! All the beds and bedding were so comfortable. My dog was in heaven, he thought he was a king. Citrus trees galore we made juice every day. Everything you need in the kitchen, and a great kitchen for someone who likes to cook or entertain. Tons of out door space for relaxing! We loved it for three weeks ❤️

It was perfect for our big family. Plenty of room inside and outside. The kitchen worked great for all the Christmas cooking we did. The deck area was spacious and had a lot of games to entertain the kids.

House is excellent and as described in the listing. Chris was willing to listen to my concerns and willing to compromise, was flexible with check in and check out.

Phenomenal stay! The backyard had so many amenities to enjoy - space heaters for chilly nights, firewood for a real fire, jacuzzi, nice pool. It had several different areas to enjoy… lawn games like corn hole and bocci ball. Hosts are incredibly accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It was so so wonderful. Thank you so much

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

Lan was an incredible host! She was very responsive from making the decision to book till our checkout date. We needed a few extra things (toilet paper and garbage bags) for our stay and she was able to the house same day. The location has many food options in a 10 min drive radius! If there was one recommendation I could give, to make the space better, was to have more table seating in the dining/kitchen area. There was also a foosball table that wasn’t in the photos that was position in the kitchen area. We would have loved to use the poker table seating area but due to the house rule of no eating in the carpet spaces, we refrained from doing so. My family had a great stay and would recommend this to families going to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and Legoland which is a 20 min drive from the location!

Loved our stay here! The home is beautiful and spacious. Perfect for a large group and nice to have a pool/pool table for entertainment. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. Denise was a great host, very responsive, and accommodating. Will be booking here again if we are back in the area!

I had an amazing stay! The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and a short drive to the airport, making travel a breeze. One of the highlights was the farmers market held on the weekend just around the corner—great for fresh produce, local goods, and a fun atmosphere. The space itself was comfortable and welcoming, and I couldn't have asked for a better spot to relax after exploring the area.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The views are breathtaking and the house pristine. Will definitely be booking again when we come back to San Diego

This villa was amazing. Basically a one bedroom suite with an attached standard hotel room. Four Seasons 5 star service all the way. All amenities were available including room service and daily maid service if wanted. Will stay next time we’re down visiting family in the area. Thanks Rita!

The villa was the perfect setup for our group’s reunion and exceeded all of our expectations! The property is inviting and comfortable, fully stocked with the essentials, and so peaceful. The host was very communicative, helpful, and friendly. We’d book this place again in a heartbeat!

Dejourne was an excellent host—very responsive and accommodating to all our needs. The space was perfect for our family, with a fantastic play area full of toys and activities for the kids. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious, ideal for hosting a large group. The front yard was expansive and offered a stunning view from the top of the hill, giving a sense of seclusion and escape from the city. Highly recommend!

We loved, loved, loved this house! Everything was perfect for us. There were nine of us and we were in the San Diego area for my niece's wedding. The home was less expensive and more intimate than all of us craming into separate hotel rooms. My niece arrived there first and texted me, "It's even better than the pictures!" The house sits atop a hill, so even the next-door neighbors aren't visible. The views are spectacular and my favorite thing to do was sit by the pool at night and look at the lights and feel the breezes. Fernanda was a perfect host and even left a bottle of champagne and some beer to help us celebrate. Communication was seamless as was the visit, which took a lot of pressure off us as we prepared for the wedding. We have already started looking for a date when we can return!

A perfect house for my family of 5. The furniture was comfortable, and we had a great time playing foosball and pool. Glad we had the pool heated for swimming given the temperature. We enjoyed morning coffee outside in this quiet neighborhood. Felt very safe here, too. Paul was super responsive when we had a question. Fantastic house, fantastic host. Will stay here again if we come back to San Diego.

This place was fantastic and beyond what I was expecting. My family and I loved it. There was lots to do and enjoy for all ages. The host was incredibly kind and generous. I already want to plan another stay and get the most of all that is offered at this resort.

Deja was a great host! She generously allowed us to stay at her condo at The Walk Resort, which offered fantastic amenities, everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The space was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. If we decide to revisit the area, I would absolutely stay at Deja’s place again.
