Great location! Excellent selection of restaurants, shops, pubs etc on the doorstep. Taxi's are always available for City Centre. Spacious apartment in a pretty quiet complex. Ideal place to stay for our weekend away. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay (our second visit at Lewis’ place). The location is ideal and the town centre and restaurants are easily walkable. Secure parking is a plus in Abergavenny and there is supermarket next door. The apartment itself is bright, modern and very well maintained. It has everything you need for a few days stay in this lovely market town where we were born many years ago! We particularly appreciate the lift up to it’s first floor location. Mike and Ann

David was very welcoming, he delivered a freshly baked loaf of bread and some butter, ensured the travel cot was set up and was very flexible with our checking in time. A great host and a surprisingly spacious rental. Extremely comfy and large king sized bed

What a wonderful experience. Sarah and Dan were outstanding, always quick to respond and went above and beyond for us. I was blown away by the beautiful decor and thoughtful amenities at Sarah and Dans home. Every detail was perfect. It was a true home away from home. Both Sarah and Dan have been so understating, when work at my property had been delayed. They didn’t falter and quickly ensured we could stay longer. I couldn’t have asked for more, they have both made us feel so welcome in their home. And nothing was too much. The location of their property is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. Views overlooking the valley are breathtaking. There is literally all you can ask for at this property, no expense spared. This has been the best experience for us, everything was so seamless. A lovely home from home with all the essentials needed for a small family. Some wear and tear/lack of attention to details noticed throughout the house, but this does not affect the stay at all. Our mattress was soft for our liking, but again we are used to a very firm mattress back home and still a comfortable nights sleep. Our son loved the bunk beds and enjoyed his own movie night in one of the double bedrooms. In the end, we didn't take our dog due to where we wanted to visit. He would have been well at home here. The smell of dog is apparent if you haven't got your own with you but again no issue for us. The surroundings are beautiful and enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas. Jon is very friendly and accommodating. Leaving some essential for our arrival and also no rush at check out when we reached out explaining we might be later to check out. Thank you for having us!

A great stay at this beautiful home. The house was immaculately clean. It was a truly relaxing stay. The decor is beautiful and all of the little extras such as jams, butter, bread, dog treats and so on were really lovely. Great host, very responsive and happy to help. Had the travel cot and high chair set up for our stay and both were very clean and in great condition. Would highly recommend as somewhere to stay near Bristol.

Lovely stay at a very well kept place which did everything it said it would. Emma was communicative and helpful prior to the stay, and the air bnb is close to great hikes and the bike park which was brilliant. Couldn't find a huge amount in terms of food options in Merthyr, but perhaps an unfair comparison given that we are so spoilt in London. Would return! Thank you Emma

It’s a modern, spacious and very clean house.

Our stay at Garden Cottage was homely, welcoming, comfortable, relaxing and unique. From booking to checkout, Angus communicated clearly and politely, no request was too big and the couple of small niggles we had upon arrival were resolved swiftly and efficiently. The cottage itself is ideal for small families. My daughter sat at the dining table crafting whilst my son and I explored the record collection. of an evening after a soak in the wood fired hot tub, we all sat around the nook/fireplace and played card games. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with everything you could need, including a fancy coffee machine which we didn't use. as per the description, the spiral staircase is narrow and a bit tricky to navigate with luggage, but the kids thought this was a really fun addition to the cottage. I would recommend packing slippers/chunky socks as the kitchen and utility rooms do get chilly of a morning and evening. Loads to do nearby, good take away and handy shops. 5 stars

Becky is an excellent host, Blackberry cottage was full of thoughtful touches which made it a really homely place to stay, even though our visit was very short. We’ve stayed at places before which provide nothing at all in the way of soaps, general supplies, so it was a lovely surprise to go somewhere so well stocked with everything you need. The place was spotless and very comfortable. The hosts have obviously thought about every detail, like the pet relief area with poo bags provided. Would definitely stay again for a longer visit!

Fantastic accommodation in a great and convenient location. Hosts were very friendly and super responsive. Clear instructions for check in and check out and great amenities provided in the apartment. Apartment was very comfortable and modern, like a home away from home. 100% recommend and will stay there again when next visiting Cardiff.

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

We stayed here with my 2 year old son. Imran was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. It's a beautiful place currently being refurbished. We had a wonderful view of the sea. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. I liked the bath in my room it was massive. I think we were to the first guests to stay here . I would definitely return .
