Hi, I'm Gill and this is my flat in Barry - right on the waterfront and only a short walk from the famous Barry Island. Although best known as the home of Gavin and Stacey, Barry has much more to offer and is a short journey from some of the most beautiful parts of Wales. Close to our beautiful sandy beaches, a short drive from Brecon and the South Wales coast, close to the Cardiff shops and the bustling Cardiff Bay, I am very lucky with the location and know you'll have a fantastic stay!

The property is located approximately half a mile (about a 10 minute walk) from Twyn Square in the centre of Usk town, which has many pubs shops and eateries. The bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen and there are 2 good sized bedrooms overlooking the front garden. There are many breathtakingly beautiful walks on the doorstep. Access is along a single track lane leading to a private parking area for 1-2 cars. Strictly no parking on the lane please, because it is a public right of way.

The apartment also offers a large 55" TV, brand new pocket sprung mattresses (April 2023) and a pool/air hockey table. Will sleep 4 people in 1 king and 1 double/queen-sized bed. There is also a small sofa and recliner. It's in a great location: cul-de-sac, green space to the front, garden to the rear, close to shops, 5 mins walking distance to several beaches and coastal path, also near to the Goodsheds sustainable urban high street. Built new in 2017, it is a bright, spacious and contemporary home. A well decorated and comfortable place to stay. P.S. The sunsets are amazing!

Cartref is a mid terraced stone built cottage. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a large comfortable lounge with a small dining area, a fully fitted kitchen.Check in after 3pm,check out before 11am. Unfortunately we do not allow pets in the cottage.There is on street parking outside the cottage but is on a first come basis.If you arrive and no parking just put a note on windscreen to say you are in the cottage with arch over front door .
