Family-friendly vacation rentals in Carboneras

We stayed with Angela and Valentin for half a year. Her Cortijo is located on the outskirts of Antas and is nestled in a beautiful green oasis. Everything is very well maintained and arranged with a lot of love for detail. The central point in the wonderfully blooming garden is the large swimming pool. There are sunbeds and parasols all around as well as numerous seating options. We lived in a separate part of the finca. The bright apartment consists of an air-conditioned open plan living/dining area, a bathroom with window, a bedroom, also air-conditioned, and a magnificent terrace. Everything is perfectly equipped and very tastefully decorated and typical of the country. Angela and Valentin are very pleasant and helpful hosts and always careful that guests don't miss anything. Amazing stay for a family lots to do in the villa to keep all ages entertained a few bits could do with some TLC but that’s clutching at straws as everything else was brilliant definitely worth the money we will be back renting a car is probably essential to get around also as a lot of places are quite a far walk but short car journey partaloa village is lovely and full of friendly locals Albox is around 15 minute drive which has all shops ect

Olivier is an amazing host, very attentive and considerate. We had an amazing stay. We were looking for a peaceful family break, lots of rest and relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked and equipped for preparing big family meals. There is an impressive attention to detail throughout. We are looking to return to the villa, it was a perfect family retreat. Peaceful enough to get teenagers to interact with family!

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful urbanisation in a beautiful area. If you’re looking for a short stay with all mod cons and an lovely host, this is the perfect location. And once you there, you will want to stay longer. The apartment has everything including equipment for trips to the beach, five minutes walk away. Shops and restaurants are less than 5 minutes in the other (textile) direction. The pool area is fantastic including the indoor pool; there are plenty of sunbeds. Myriam’s fully equipped two terraces ensure that you can catch or avoid the sun at any time of day. Despite 30+ degrees the ceiling fans provided enough air to maintain comfort. Aircon is also available in all rooms. The kitchen has everything you’ll need on your stay here. All in all a perfect holiday apartment. Bravo Myriam.

Paul was the perfect host helping us to have a wonderful week in his beautiful villa. We arrived very late at night and the tea, coffee and milk were very welcomed. The villa is amazing and the photos, even though they are beautiful, do not do the villa justice. We appreciated the new hot tub and it was perfect to sit in it late at night star gazing. Thank you Paul for a truly perfect, peaceful holiday.

Beautiful spacious apartment with sea views in a great location. Equipped with everything I needed. The apartment complex was secure, with a quiet private pool and car parking. A short walk, six to seven minutes led down to the beach, restaurants, Tapas bars and local supermarkets. Would come again.

We spent a wonderful few days on the Moorish island and in this accommodation, everything as described, very comfortable, the beds, the cool house with ceiling fans and with everything you need in the kitchen to spend a few days, the neighbor Ani is very nice, the area is quiet, we will surely repeat.

I recommend Maria Victoria's house 100%. It is very well located and in a quiet environment that invites you to rest. The house has been recently renovated (this is already personal but we loved the "style" and decoration of the apartment and certain elements such as the beamed ceilings) and is fully equipped, which also makes it ideal for long stays. Communication with María Victoria both before and during the stay was very good, and we found her to be a very thoughtful and attentive host, since on the day of arrival we found some welcome gifts that we really appreciated. A very positive experience from start to finish!

A quiet location, but easy to get to different destinations in Cabo de Gata. Very clean and cozy, and very attentive to any needs we had. It's worth it.

What could be more beautiful than silence and sunshine? My daughter replied the moon and the stars... That's it, a return to the source, to simplicity, to the earth, its fruits, its flowers. The house is decorated keeping the soul of the house, nothing is missing, all the little touches are there. This house is a haven of peace. Thanks Karin, we'll be back!

Breathtaking location and very nice stay. We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed every moment. At sunset, walk into the orchard for the most beautiful skyline of the mill. And for a dessert at the only bar in the village.

We had an amazing time at the house - highly recommend for families . We loved the pool at the back and the cool dark bedrooms. Kitchen was great as was terrace area - can’t wait to come back again ! Only issue was getting into the property as the garage door was locked but this was quickly resolved .

Amazing views of San Jose. It is in very quiet and peaceful area. It’s a short walk to restaurants and bars. I can’t wait to return.

A perfect location within a very short walk of the beach, shops, supermarket, good restaurants and bars. Villa is well stocked and very child friendly with plenty of pool toys. Pool is a good size, warmed up nicely and very well maintained as we saw pool maintenance a number of times. Villa is clean, with plenty of space for a family or 2 and I can confirm the mattress to the master was great. We didn’t spend time in the villa in the evenings but it was well set up for sociable gatherings if you were sharing the space with friends/another family. Really enjoyable stay at a villa that caters for almost any type of guests in a location that has so much close by, yet is quiet and despite being overlooked by some apartments felt very private as barely saw a person. Looking forward to our return next year!

Located a stone's throw from the Tabernas desert and coastal wonders, nestled near Lubrin, an idyllic cortijo ideal for relaxing between idleness and discovering nature. Surrounded by lush nature and friendly pets visiting, this Andalusian farmhouse is a small haven of peace that, well equipped, tidy and clean, shows real attention to all the details of everyday life. And, very quickly, you feel at home! So all the merit belongs to Sarah, a discreet and attentive host. Highly recommend

Egbert was really helpful before, during and after our stay. the location of the house is really good and has a variety of areas to eat out in the shade or sun. the pool has a grassy shaded area with a good selection of sun beds supplied by Egbert. the pool is a good size and never gets crowded even in August! the info book was really useful and thoughtfully put together with many useful suggestions of where to visit in the area. Although we have been visiting the area for many years we even found new places to visit. the Lunar Cable park and inflatables at the resevoir was a good morning out and our grand children loved the infatable obstacle course. there is a good snack bar on site. Get there early and allow a couple of hours only. we often eat at Triana in the Valle de Este resort as the food is great and always consistent quality. if you dont fancy a full meal you can just work your way through the tapas! great holiday, great house and great hosts! enjoy!

We had a great time in a fantastic place and the house with everything you need and in unbeatable condition, highly recommended and I will definitely be back, it's great. The owners are very friendly and the service was charming.

The house is a pass, just like the location. The village of Mojácar surprised us pleasantly, it is beautiful. We were looking for peace of mind to spend a few days with a family by the sea, and that's precisely what we got.
