Prenditela con calma in questo spazio unico e rilassante, direttamente sul mare a picco sulla scogliera per i veri amanti della pace e della tranquillità, ma non per tutti. Alla Cota Quinta si accede tramite una stradina stretta e in salita ma sufficentemente larga per una macchina e per un furgone per gli autisiti più temerari. Una volta arrivati al parcheggio ci sono almeno 50 gardini per raggiungere gli appartamenti da cui si può accedere direttamente al mare per un tuffo dagli scogli.

Built about a century ago as an annex of the nearby "castle" and for this reason called "Casa al mare" (House by the sea). La Torre is one of two ancient watchtowers in the beautiful town of Marciana Marina. The tower was already noted on maps of the 16th century as Torre di Poggio and converted in the 18th century as a customs office for the merchandise from the lake.
