House vacation rentals in Capileira

Thank you Mart and Kristina for our lovely stay. From the off you were always quick to reply and helped us out with more advice during our stay. The villa is situated in a lovely location. Barring any mobility issues we were able to walk to the beaches and town centre with two young children. The villa is very well presented and the balcony and private and well established garden was a great little place for relaxing. Only one pool was open due to us being outside peak season and although it was cold it got good sun and had handy toilets to use. I would happily recommend and return in the future.

The apartment is in a very nice park, well maintained, away from the chaos of downtown Nerja. The terrace on which you can eat offers a beautiful view. We found everything you need in the house. Everything is well kept and clean.

There were six of us at the property. It is a super spacious villa, you have more than enough space. Beautiful pool, nice outdoor seating and a small garden. Nothing is visible from the outside, so you have a relaxed private sphere. Highly recommended is a rental car. Without it, we would have been stuck quite quickly for shopping, as the villa is a long way uphill. But the beach and town are also within walking distance. Overall super recommended and a great place to stay.

We stayed at Johanna's Airbnb and the experience was great from start to finish. The place is as shown in the photos: clean, comfortable, well located and with all the details designed to make you feel at home. Merche was an attentive host, kind and always willing to help with any questions or recommendations. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

WE LOVE IT. The house is super cozy and full of attention, snacks upon arrival, a bed for the dog and also his snacks. Loli (Dolores), Miguel, Angel and Carolina were amazing. We had an unforeseen event with a tire and they were super helpful. Thank you for everything. We'll be back

Place was outstanding! We had such a good time - area fantastic. The home was lovely, outstanding views, beautiful pool area, outside dining area also with incredible view. We loved it there and had a fabulous time in La Herradua. Great beach community. Patricia’s responsiveness was appreciated as were her spot on suggestions! Read her book on the place - super helpful ! Can’t wait to return !

What a beautiful villa! The views are outstanding, the kitchen/living space and outdoor areas are lovely and very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large group. The bathrooms and some of the bedrooms were quite dark, but we appreciate that is the design of a house built into the hillside. La Herradura is walking distance with good bars and restaurants, although as others have said it is quite a steep climb back up to the villa, but there is plenty of parking if driving. Great roads and easy access from Malaga, and easy to get into Almuñécar for larger supermarkets, buses etc. We recommend a day trip to Granada as it is only an hour away, and beautiful. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and Rachel was very responsive and helpful when we were there. A minor issue with the cooker was resolved promptly. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful stay in Órgiva! Stéphane was the most responsive and helpful host we have ever had, he always tried to make sure we were okay and that we had everything we needed and more. The house was nice with the typical Spanish charm and had ample space for sleeping. The only downsides were the fact that there was no central heating (which seemed to be the case based on the pictures, but was not specifically mentioned so our mistake for assuming) and that the living area was a bit smaller than we are used to from our Belgian house (which I guess is typical for a Spanish house). We are a family of four with a toddler and a baby and we had some family to come stay with us during the month we were there and then it would get crowded in the living area, but luckily the weather was nice during our stay so we only noticed this during the evenings and then the wooden cabin was a good solution to sometimes split up. The garden more than made up for these things, it's really paradise!

We loved our stay. The Villa was lovely and spacious and even better than the pictures. We really liked the outdoor seating area and bbq. The pool area was great and very close to the Villa. It’s walkable to the front but also very simple to get a taxi or bus.

We had a very nice, peaceful stay and I would recommend the place to anyone. Just be aware that the satnav gets confused and the name of the property isn’t shown, making it tricky to find initially. We’ll definitely come back!

The apartment is set in lovely grounds and the terrace looks over one of the pools. The location is good and it’s a nice, but steep walk down to the beach. The apartment is a really good size and feels very homely. Our little girl loved finding all the little wooden mice that were hiding around! The showers were excellent, with a really good jet and the water was always hot. The kitchen was really well equipped with all the utensils you could need and it was great to be able to eat out on the terrace. There are clear instructions about leaving the bbq grill clean but unfortunately this wasn’t the case when we arrived and so we had to give it a really good scrub and soak before we could use it. This is a fault of the previous guests though and not the host. The pools are nice and there are a good number of loungers to use. It was a shame that they weren’t heated and the snack bar wasn’t open as we were visiting in April. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great spot in Granada, very comfortable for 3 of us. The view of the Alhambra from the terrace is epic. Wish we had more time to enjoy it. We appreciated the easy checkin with host greeting us, and that coffee was provided. Be aware that taxi drops you a couple blocks away and the street numbers on odd-numbered side dont line up with even-numbered side so just look on the even side and keep walking! Recommend Casa de Todas for drinks and tapas.

Absolutely beautiful home in a stunning location. Our whole family, all nine of us had plenty space. Our holiday was everything we hoped and we plan to return. Thank you!

A great apartment to spend a few days in Granada.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa La Bodega. We are a family of 6. Kids aged 10 - 23, and everyone loved the house and pool. From the terraces/outside space, with various far reaching views of the mountains or sea, the garden/grounds with various flowers and fruit/veg plants, and of course the pool, which we pretty much used every day. Internally the house was very well presented, and offered everything you would need. A great, well equipped kitchen, and two lovely shower rooms, with the one upstairs offering great mountain/sea views. There was also plenty of storage in the bedrooms. The community pool was also a hit with us, and only a 5m walk. Such a great chilled out space where you can also grab a drink and snacks from the bar. Our host Adrian was excellent. He gave clear informative instructions before and during our stay. And when we had a minor issue with something, he responded and dealt with it within an hour of us contacting him. He very much enhanced our great stay. Thank you

What a beautiful place! We spent five nights at Nadia's place with our little family, lots of amazing hiking opportunities, such a cosy cabin with beautiful decor, and the scenery is fantastic! Easy to walk up to Capileira or down to Bubion for shops and restaurants, but we mainly just cooked in the cabin and enjoyed the garden and the views. And our 1-year-old loved to pet the cat! Could easily see myself spending longer times here. Nadia is a great host, always responsive and friendly.

We are enjoyed our short, off-season stay very much. The property is located a short drive from La Herradura town center with lots of local restaurants and shops. The property is as described, with all the amenities provided. The terrace is speclacurar with breathtaking views. We would definitely stay again!

Yet another, fabulous stay. Great location, town and beach on the doorstep but a peaceful oasis to relax. Would highly recommend.

It is a wonderful location, we especially loved the terrace on the top of the hill with a great view of the sea, but still feeling very private. It was spacious, well-equipped and the interior design was thought through, a great mix of art and local culture right in the old town close to the castle. We felt like locals and as we were there over Easter, we felt privileged to watch the Easter processions passing the house. We had a wonderful time and were very sad when it came to an end. Silvina was easy to reach and always very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved staying in Jeanette’s house. The location is perfect, close to everything. The kitchen worked well for us and we enjoyed hanging out on both the lovely terraces. Hope to return one day.
