We had a wonderful time! The host was very communicative & checked in often! The home and property were beautiful and had everything we could have wanted to make the weekend super fun and memorable! We loved our stay!

Great place for a getaway.

We had a great stay at Anchors Away! Nice house with a great view of Canyon Lake. The furniture and decor made us feel right at home. We really appreciated all of the extra touches of convenience - Qtips, toiletries, spices, etc. Also really appreciated a fully equipped kitchen to cook our meals. This is SO hard to find!! Plenty spacious for our family of 7. We enjoyed a lot of time out on the large deck. Enjoyed seeing deer in the backyards each morning and evening. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Martin’s house! From the moment I messaged him about staying, he was responsive and helpful! We wanted a house that slept 30 people, allowed dogs, allowed us to hold our small elopement, and had activities for our family to enjoy throughout the weekend. This house met the criteria and more! It had plenty of space, many activities, baby and dog materials, the best pool and hot tub, and a beautiful view, which was amazing for our wedding photos. Our entire family raved about the house! It was a weekend we’ll never forget! We would love to come back for another family weekend or an anniversary celebration! Thank you so much for hosting us!

Loved the scenic setting on the Guadalupe River. Great backdrop for family pics. Open, airy, and homey. The kitchen was well equipped and there were towels for dayzzz. 🤩. Highly recommended.

Love love loved this place! Beautiful home with plenty of space for relaxing. Whether hanging out on the deck or lounging in the hot tub, this place had it all! We even grilled out one night! This was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend. Only 30 minutes from the Natural Bridge Caverns and 40 minutes from the Gruene Historic District, it was perfectly located for what we had planned for the weekend. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!! It was well stocked with all the essentials, towels, blankets, shampoo/soap, etc. and matched the listing! The only downside was the lake was a little low, but that’s outside of anyone’s control. Otherwise it was the perfect peaceful oasis. Tons of deer running through the area too!

This place is beautiful , very peaceful and relaxing , beautiful views, very clean, place have everything you need , such a kitchen supplies, etc. was such a wonderful experience feed the deer. Looks exactly like the pictures on app. Will be back . Great place

The outlaw house was a great stay! The decor of the home was very cool and the layout was perfect for us girls on a girls trip. The house was clean and had everything we needed! We were disappointed that the backyard was not as described (it was a bit overgrown and the fire pit with chairs was not there. We were looking forward to enjoying it). There were also some gnats and mosquitoes in the home that were a little annoying at night when we were trying to sleep. They seemed to be coming from the plants that were in the home. Other than those minor issues the home was very comfortable! We enjoyed the fireplace, the comfortable couch and beds as well as the location! I would recommend to friends to stay here!

The place was fantastic. Great location, charming seafood restaurant just walking distance from the house. Walking down by the small lake was a pleasure. The house was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed for our short stay. Thanks!

First things first ... such a wonderful host!! I had a few minor situations happen but she was quick to respond and resolve the issue. You need your grass cut, you let her know and her and her Fiance come and take care of it for you!! Secondly... She allowed us to add something to her home! A fire pit! It was an ask and she was approved out ask. We bought and hope future guests enjoy it!! Also bought a few camo chairs also, for future guests to use as well!! This place is so relaxing, and close to lots of local eatery. Also not far from Lockhart which is where my husband and a few of his coworkers were commuting too. I would highly recommend too anyone who is visiting for a relaxing getaway, business. Beds are small but comfortable. Comfy bedding. Cozy couch, you'll slink right into them and cute and comfortable Egg Chairs. If you've come across this review it's because your considering the AirBnB ... Don't skip last it. It's truly a Gem 💎!! We absolutely loved the lake house. There were 15 of us, ranging from 2-68 years old, and everyone had an amazing time. The house had plenty of space for all of us to sleep, lounge, and play. The "man cave" had darts, shuffleboard, ping pong, and a pool table which kept the older kids very entertained. We visited from 12/25-1/1, and each day was memorable. The place was close enough to drive to San Antonio, where we went to Fiesta Texas and Riverwalk. Also, close to Wimberly, where we went hiking and shopping, and Gruene for the shops and wine! There is lots of stuff to do close by, and we visited District 46, a cool spot for food and live music. Since we live in Texas, we have had some hot days and cold days. On the hot days, we took the paddleboard down to the lake, and the kids enjoyed picking up sea shells. The hosts were equally amazing, checking in and responding to all our questions, even offering support when my sister's luggage was delayed. Overall a wonderful experience!

This house felt very homey. It was really comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything you need to cook a meal. The beds were comfortable, the backyard was well maintained and had a view of the water. We all lounged in the big comfy couch, watched movies and played games. I would definitely choose this property again if I'm in the area.

Randy’s place was fantastic! The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully made up, and we loved that each area had its own bathroom—it made the stay so convenient. The amenities were great, and the kitchen was amazing, perfect for cooking and gathering. I highly recommend staying here!
