Communication was excellent and even accommodated an early check in. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and well maintained definitely worth it and would stay again if in the area.

Great stay would definitely book again next time in San Marcos area.

Rose was a great host! The place was just as nice as was shown with a great deck and view that made it feel like a treehouse. We stayed here as an alternative to the Omni for an event that was there - and getting Ubers to and from the hotel was mixed (sometimes easy, sometimes a bit pricey). But can't say enough about Rose as a host - she was great!

Nice, safe, and convenient area (plenty of stores and food nearby, including Walmart). Clean apartment. Alex was responsive and helpful. Note that one of the rooms (the one I stayed in) is someone's bedroom with all their clothes and other things, so don't expect to use any space in the closet or dresser. I would stay there again.

We relished every moment of our stay here. The check in process was simple and clear. The place was spotless. The neighborhood was charming, with plenty of things to do in short walking distance. The pool and hot tub were both pristine, and what a delight to take a dip in the pool after hiking on a hot, sunny day. Nighttime, the bed was very comfortable and the room was as quiet as you could wish for. Definitely a perfect place for exploring San Marcos and the surrounding hill country.

We enjoyed our stay at Hieu’s Airbnb while visiting Austin. We stayed here 9 nights and the apartment is very spacious and had everything we needed. A nice little detail is they had laundry / dishwasher detergents. Unfortunately we did however find the noise insulation quite poor, with lots of noise from the streets and neighbors. The apartment could also be cleaner (there was dust in the bathroom and kitchen). The location is good, not too far from downtown by either car or public transport.

We brought the whole family and had a very nice stay. The property is beautiful, relaxing, and quiet. We didn’t have the pool heated, but the double wide hot tub was excellent. We enjoyed the grill and outdoor space, and used the fire pit every night. The house is private, but not far from anything you could need, restaurants and an HEB are 15 minutes away. There were a few maintenance issues that came up the first day, but the team were very responsive to my texts, and Joe the caretaker was very friendly and totally solved our issues. The only quirk I want to mention is the queen bedroom with the metal door can only be accessed by walking through one of the bunk rooms. It didn’t turn in to a huge issue, but it was a surprise based on the description. Perhaps I didn’t read it clearly enough. Also, that metal door couldn’t be fully pulled closed from the outside (in the bunk room). So when people were sleeping in either room and I left the queen room, I couldn’t maintain privacy.

Very clean and very cute. Exactly as pictured. Easy to find and easy to get in. Overall recommend.

We had an issue with the shower in the bathroom, but once Maggie responded, she was very helpful with providing numerous ways to assist while she was out of town. The backyard is fabulous for pups! Great little spot for a quick trip to Austin!

Great location, responsive host, house was spacious inside and looked just like pictures. Only “complaint”: the driveway is small for how many the house can accommodate so we did have to park on the road so we didn’t block the driveway.

Melva’s home was cozy, clean, and just what we needed in our wedding weekend. Melva left us a cute little gift basket to celebrate and even let us return after our checkout time to retrieve items we had accidentally left. She was responsive and very kind. I highly recommend this home and to work with Melva for your next vacay.

Our trip to San Antonio was complete with the accommodations this home offered. We were able to use the community pool. The biggest HEB I've ever been to is just 3 miles away, we cooked many meals here and utilized the home's cookware and tools, the washer and dryer were noticeably in new condition, making towel turnaround comfortable, the neighborhood was safe, lawns are landscaped! everything was wonderful. This place is great for any type of getaway. It's in the center of peace and tranquility with great restaurants/bistos, a new coffee shop, wineries, and breweries close by. Although we have experienced those in the past, we didn't leave the entire weekend. We enjoyed the quiet Hill Country by the pool and spa, cooked out, set by the fire pit and had early morning coffee outside. TV and wifi service was perfect, if you need that during your stay. We had our two small dogs with us and they roamed freely and were intrigued by the frequent appearance of deer that calmly walked through the property. It was all picturesque.

Everything went according to plan Jean was a Super host providing sound instruction guidance and information. She also made it seamless by allowing a Flex Time to get into the residence. A huge help based on our travel. You’ll love the house with its sizable rooms and spacious kitchen. Very good experience all the way around.
