Carolina and Tiago were very helpful and were always responding to all our queries. They made us a lot of great local recommendations. They also accommodated our request for an early check in.

We had a wonderful time! The apartment was perfect, clean and comfortable. The view is beautiful and the movie theater is a real plus! It's worth a visit, perfect for resting after hiking. You are 4-5€ in Bolt from the city center and if you are wondering if it is worth it to get away from the city center: yes! You will not regret it. Thank you to Rodrigo and his partner who hosted us! We'll come back, I hope.

apartment overlooking the ocean with a window and terrace with a beautiful view. clean and well-equipped (washing machine and dishwasher, kitchen utensils, toaster, hairdryer, ironing board...). furniture a little vintage but well-kept. you only need to improve the instructions to reach the apartment because they were unclear, and being night, they were difficult to follow in the dark. highly recommended!

The views from the apartment are spectacular. The area is quiet. However, if you are sensitive to noise while sleeping, it is better to sleep with the window closed. So you don't hear the morning traffic, and neither do the dogs and the rooster in the distant neighborhood. Julie is very helpful and always quick to help when you need something. She had brought pastries and Madeira to welcome them. Please note that the terrace is not connected to the apartment. That is, you have to first get out of the house and then onto the terrace. I was able to park the car comfortably on the property. I will miss the view! I can highly recommend the apartment.

This accommodation was perfect for our stay. It was exactly as described: clean, good location and everything you needed. The description says there were no towels, but they were there. A pleasant surprise. The center of Funchal was within walking distance, ideal. The parking was also ideal, never having to search for parking was definitely a plus. The parking was also spacious and easy to drive in and out. We loved our stay here and would definitely return.

Louise was a brilliant host and possibly the best experience I have had with Airbnb. She was kind and helpful with everything and made our stay painless and relaxing as was intended. Madeira is a fantastic island. Well-served area, there are restaurants nearby. Thank goodness the accommodation includes a parking space as it is difficult to find street parking. Fantastic host, recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Holiday. We felt at home and we had everything we needed for our holidays. Some reviews mentioned the dog barking downstairs but we did not bother since it happens sometimes in the day and we were mostly outside. Great views and very comfy Highly recommended!

Very nice area with pool and jakuzzi. Quiet place. We were pleasantly surprised by Leo's hospitality - he even provided us with hiking poles as we couldn't bring our owns due to EasyJet restrictions!

Wonderful apartment with fantastic views. Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, super great apartment. The only small catch, the ring road was loudly heard on the balcony. In the apartment it was no problem. Highly recommend.

Our stay at this stunning penthouse in Madeira was truly unforgettable. After a stressful experience with a different host, we were in desperate need of a safe and welcoming place—and Jose went above and beyond. Not only was the apartment impeccable with absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean and city, but the host was also incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He allowed us to check in immediately after booking, which was a lifesaver for our family. We were greeted with warmth and kindness that instantly put us at ease and turned our trip around. The penthouse itself is spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, and offers one of the best views you can imagine of the ocean. We can’t thank the host enough for their hospitality. Highly, highly recommend this place—it truly felt like a hidden gem and a peaceful escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We were very lucky to be the first guests in this beautiful apartment – and it was just perfect! Everything was exactly as described The apartment is perfectly equipped, nothing is really missing and it was sparkling clean when we arrived. The view of the sea is fantastic and invites you to linger. The location is great – quiet but central. From here, you can quickly and easily reach everything you want to see in Madeira by car. The apartment is a great base for exploring the island. An underground parking garage with its own parking space is also available – very convenient! The hosts are incredibly friendly, always available and respond very quickly to any questions. We felt completely comfortable and can fully recommend the accommodation! Thank you for everything!

The place was beautiful in a very quiet location with stunning views. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. The beach Calheta is 5 minutes by car easy to reach and highly recommended. We also loved the private parking. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are doing and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. Nice apartment to stay for a long holiday with beautiful views of Praira Formosa. Infinity pool, ample space, well equipped kitchen and washing machine. Free parking in the apartment's garage. The location was perfect being just outside of Funchal with easy access to ER 101. The apartment sits up on the hill with a short walk to the promenade; you can walk either towards Camara de Lobos or Funchal. Lots of restaurants on the promenade and on Estrada Monumental. There is a supermarket (Continente) just 2-3 blocks down the street from the apartment. The local host met us at the apartment to show us around. The apartment was clean and comfortable coming home after a day of hiking (purchase trail tickets 3E on Simplifica for all the PR# trails). A car is a must if you are going to hike and see Maderia. No Jacuzzi and gym is old and poorly equipped.

This was a beautiful Airbnb with a great patio. Tons of wonderful restaurants were in walking distance. Paulo was a very friendly host and even delivered fresh bread every morning!
