Our stay at La Copa was amazing! We stayed on the 4th floor with 10 women. Can’t beat a bathroom per bedroom!! Lots of space in the living room and the deck for everyone! The sunrises on the Gulf side and was one of the best we’ve ever seen. The walk to the beach is easy and makes for a great spot for exercise. Location is great as it is centrally located on the island and lots of things to do within walking distance. We had cars which made it easier to get around but know they do lots of golf cart rentals too. The only “complaint” was there were no beach towels but we just bought cheap ones from one of the local shops. Excellent stay and would easily go back.

We greatly enjoyed our 2-week stay in early February to escape an Iowan winter. The very nice unheated pool was too cold for me despite temps in the 90s. The hot tub wasn’t working. Our host couldn’t have been any more gracious. A very comfortable bed with lovely linens, also. Very quiet, peaceful and safe!

Such a beautiful and relaxing space! The sunroom was amazing and peaceful, the house had plenty of space, and the pictures did not do the yard any justice. It was minutes from Casa Los Ebanos, easy to find, and the hosts were very friendly and communicative. Highly recommend - can’t wait for another reason to stay here!

David and Lavonda were top tier hosts. Hands down the greatest AB&B experience. We were having a family medical emergency trip from Houston to Brownsville we booked our stay for one month and our hosts helped make us feel right at home and were very understanding of our situation. We enjoyed our stay! The condo is located a short walk away from the beach, and has nice facilities including swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The inside is beautifully decorated with a well-equipped kitchen. Beware if you need darkness to sleep. There is a bright lamp outside the window and there are no curtains. I had to hang blankets over the window.

This was the perfect spot for our large family. The house is spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend getaway. While we went to visit the beach and explore South Padre Island, we didn’t want to leave the house. The kitchen and outdoor grill area saved us a ton of money and it was actually enjoyable to cook and visit with family at the same time.

This condo was absolutely beautiful we had an ocean view and a Bay view even though we were only there for a day we really enjoyed our stay and our host was quick to respond to any questions or problems we had. Definitely want to book here again in the future and highly recommend to anyone who may be wanting a luxury stay at South Padre island

Absolutely loved this place! You have to stop by 2 places to check in but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The space is very clean and cozy. The free breakfast buffet was decent. I had a slight issue getting in the room due to my error so I called the host and they were able to help me right away. The best part of this stay was the balcony with the stunning view and being walking distance to the beach. Definitely will be staying here again when we’re back in SPI!

We had an excellent stay at The Tiki for three nights. It was very easy to check in and bypass the first checkin location by filling out the secure forms online. La Copa was easy to reach by phone when we had questions. The Tiki was a little bit far from the breakfast at La Copa Inn. but was great when we made it there. (Continental plus made to order tacos/omlettes!) The walk to the beach was easy: just walked through the property and out the back gate. The pools looked quite inviting and not over crowded. There were many restaurants and bars a short walk on the beach or a short drive away. We appreciated being able to bring our dog. The pet fee was reasonable: $50. Overall the property was quite beautiful and a bargain for the price. Everything was pretty recently updated with just a few cosmetic flaws here or there. Bedding was comfortable. TV with Roku worked great. Thanks for a great place to relax and have fun!

Excellent apartment in a quiet corner of the complex. It has all you need for a comfortable stay. King bed and a dehumidifier that really makes a difference keeping the humidity low. My recommendation to Team Copa is to simplify the check-in process. Essentially you have to check-in twice in two different locations having to read and sign paperwork at the Copa hotel and at The Tiki condominium. Not a way to welcome a guest that shows up tired after driving for hours.
