Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Camden County

We needed a place to stay for a couple nights while working on a job in Elizabeth City. Anthony’s place was available and he was able to fit us in on a days notice which was a huge help to us. Place was very clean inside and was just the right size for me and my crew to have our own space as well as somewhere to hang together after work. Would come back to stay again!

Maureen was flexible with us checking in 2hrs early. The house was clean! We got to explore the area, not much to do, but it was peaceful. Be sure to check out the trail by the COA! It was beautiful! The big fenced yard was a great addition for we had our dog with us. The pool was an added bonus! However, there was no “active pool cleaner” and there were a lot of bugs and dirt from the trees on the water—which was understandable. Other than that, everything was great! Felt right at home! Lovely home. Very spacious. Pictures do not show the character that this home possesses. Extremely please with the gracious hospitality of the host. Will definitely be back next year if Julie and Rob would have us.

Frank and Martha are very responsive and easy to work with. The house is so relaxing you don't want to leave!

Aaron was a great host that was very responsive from booking to check out. He went above and beyond to meet our specific needs. The home was very beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The backyard yard set up was spectacular and met our needs as a large family. We will definitely be staying at the property during future visits and thank you again Aaron for all of your support throughout our visit.

I have stayed here several times and have always had nothing but good things to say. This time is no exception. James is a wonderful host and is very easy to communicate with and his notes and instructions on how everything works is easy to understand and accurate. This is an extremely family friendly home. It literally has EVERYTHING you need to stay comfortably, cook a full meal ( if you want) or enjoys the back deck. The amount of detail that James puts into making sure everything is perfect for your stay goes above and beyond. The outdoor appearance and interior is very clean and organized. And most importantly I feel very safe in this area. The neighborhood is quiet and close to almost anything you need. My daughter graduated from college here so I will not be staying with the same frequency but i definitely recommend this place.

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

This was our little home away from home while my son and I visited my daughter. Allison was super responsive!! She contacted us to see if we needed a cot and whether we preferred coffee or tea. Our basket of snacks was a nice touch! We enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I are kayaking the ICW and needed a place near the water to wait out a storm. Gia’s place is PERFECTLY located! We landed right in front of the apartment and it was easy to pull the boat out with the little boat ramp. Also, it is just across the water from the famous restaurant at Coinjock marina that everyone had been telling us about. Gia have lots of great instructions on how to enter, though the local recommendations were over the top (I think this is encouraged by AirBnB, though). Her responses were immediate, which helped us quickly decide to book with her because she is so proactive. The apartment is just as described, and had everything we needed for our two night stay. We liked having the little balcony with a view of the water. That is a nice feature!! The building itself is in need of some maintenance, though that won’t affect your stay. It seems as if a bunch of improvement work is underway at the premises, meaning this place will be even more amazing soon!

I’d give it “Three C’s”: Clean, Cute, Cozy. Attention to detail & pet friendly, the enclosed space protects the dogs until you’re ready to leave the gated enclosure. Oh, the welcome basket is delightful, healthy snacks & wine; which soothes the weary travelers. The kitchen rack for drying dishes is creative & sanitary-great idea! Good location for overnight accommodations. I’d recommend Anne’s place!

Amber's place was very nice, plenty of lighting, and really comfortable. It was great for the stay we needed. I preferred it more than staying in a hotel. It had all the comforts of home. We would stay again if we are planning to be in the area.

This was my first experience staying at an Airbnb but for first timers, it was amazing. The place was very nicely set up and very welcoming. Felt right at home. Emily was very responsive with any questions I had. Even accommodated a slightly earlier check in for me which was very nice. The place had everything you could need for your stay. Bathroom had shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Kitchen had seasonings, pots and pans if needed. Emily even left a bottle of wine for us which was very thoughtful and appreciated. 10/10 would most definitely recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay here again :)

If you are headed to Elizabeth City, you have to stay at Harbour Place! It is immaculate, stylish, and walkable to everything in downtown. Michael is an exceptionally hospitable host. It was quiet and private as well. Slept like a dream. And he really has thought of everything. This Air BNB is top tier! Highly recommend.

The perfect spot for a quick stay in Elizabeth City. The place was clean, quiet & cozy. I appreciated that all the light switches were labeled, a little detail that I wish more places had. It was easy to find & the check in/out instructions were very clear.
