I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

What an incredible place! This would have to be one of the best Airbnb I have stay at! It was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed. Daniela was the most incredible host. Not only did she give us incredible suggestions, she helped book a few things for us. She went out of her way constantly to make sure we were able to enjoy the area. She made our experience in the Duo Valley incredible and very memorable.

We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. From the moment we arrived , Alexandra welcomed our family and made us at home. The establishment is incredibly designed, unbelievable views and smells of fresh flowers. Reservei o espaço para uma despedida de solteiro. Posso afirmar que todas as 11 pessoas ficaram extremamente contentes com a casa, disponibilidade do sr. Marcos e restante equipa, limpeza, comodidades e principalmente a localização da casa. Era exatamente o que procurávamos, para o tipo de férias que queríamos fazer. Fomos sempre muito bem aconselhados, informados, bem recebidos, não nos faltou nada. Uma terra linda, com atividades e locais de visita obrigatórios. Uma boa relação preço-qualidade para quem procura um bonito refúgio da vida de cidade. Muito obrigado. Voltaremos.

De facto não me surpreendeu pelos comentários que já tinha lido. Casa extremamente cheirosa, acolhedora com imensos jogos para se entreter mesmo em dias chuvosos como tivemos. Pequenos pormenores que nos cativaram cada dia passado, sem falar da vista para o Douro que não me cansava de admirar. Obrigada

We had such a lovely stay here! The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and the stay is even better than the photos. We played tennis, minigolf, jeu de boules and more. We also had a swim in the nice pool. The highlight is the terrace with the amazing view, the outdoor kitchen and the sweetest dogs. I can highly recommend this place, we will come back for sure!

Fantastic stay at Ricardo's villa! Beautiful pool and villa setup in an incredibly secluded part of the countryside. We went as a group of eight in our late twenties - we didn't have a car so Ricardo organised a taxi for us to get around that was incredibly helpful, including to get down into the village to visit the INCREDIBLE Tasquinha do Tio Miguel! We will be back! Xxx

Staying at Quinta dos Moinhos was truly a dream come true for us. Not only was it the perfect setting for our wedding, but the property and the views were simply unforgettable. The home is absolutely stunning and one of a kind, nestled in a peaceful and picturesque location, with breathtaking views and a rich family history. Every detail of the home is filled with character, and you can feel the care and pride that has gone into preserving the home and the surrounding nature. Diogo was an exceptional host - warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. He even hopped on a Facetime call so we could see the property firsthand and feel more confident about our decision! Diogo is just a genuinely kind person, and from the moment we arrived he made us feel completely at ease. His hospitality and kindness were especially meaningful during such a special time in our lives. We couldn’t ask for a more special place to celebrate, and we are already looking forward to the day we can return!

Amazing place. We've spent a month there and everything was perfect. Nuno is very helpful and a friendly host. The place itself was above all of our expectations: fantastic view, super clean and comfortable. Felt right like home.

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

geweldige locatie en een mooi huis, nog mooier dan op de foto's. alles was erg schoon en ze waren erg vriendelijk. Bij ontvangst stond een heerlijk hapje klaar, super lief. Onze dochter van 4 was niet weg te slaan uit het zwembad, ze vind het geweldig. En wat een uitzicht, dat is pas wakker worden. We komen zeker nog eens terug mochten we weer in de buurt zijn. bedankt

Recomendo este estabelecimento sem qualquer reserva, à vista de Vila Real e fenomenal. O local é muito confortável com todas as comodidades necessárias para um fim de semana confortável. Os donos são totalmente dedicados a qualidade e serviço. Sentar a noite a beber um copo de vinho há luz de Vila Real foi totalmente memorável. Muito obrigado pela hospitalidade.

Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta. Teresa y Jorge son unos anfitriones maravillosos, que nos han mimado durante toda nuestra estancia. Están siempre disponibles y buscando satisfacer cualquier deseo o necesidas que pudieramos tener. La casa es realmente peculiar y especial, llena de historia y bonita decoración, antiguedades y detalles exquisitos. Niños y adultos hemos estado tan cómodos con la piscina, el clima, la barbacoa, el mobiliario exterior,... que hemos disfrutado más la casa que las obligadas visitas turísticas de la ciudad e la zona. We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms. The patio was nice to enjoy too with great views all around. We had a car with us and we're able to park it across the street in an off street parking space. Julio was kind to give us a quick talk about the region and a taste of his delicious port wine.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

Pedro was a fantastic host who provided detailed airport directions, transportation advice, and was incredibly responsive throughout. He personally welcomed us upon arrival and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect - peaceful and quiet, exactly what we hoped for. The pool was amazing with stunning views and a natural feel that made it truly special. A delightful surprise was fresh bread from the local bakery delivered to our door each morning. When we requested additional bread, Pedro generously provided extra at no charge, showcasing his wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a thoughtful host, serene location, and beautiful amenities. Already looking forward to returning with my family!
