The fruit farm and vineyard with its winery provide the context for a quiet stay in rural calm and also as a springboard to explore the magnificent Douro valley. The old stone cottage has been renovated with amenities for a comfortable self catering holiday. The “Casa do Feitor” is a part of an old house in Quinta do Vilar, located in the Douro Valley. You'll be surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, fruit trees and vegetable gardens. There are farm animals and a mediterranean forest with oak, cork oak and arbutus trees. This is an eco-system which we look after with the utter most love and respect. It's our mission to honour, regenerate and preserve this system by respecting its identity including all the elements which take part in it.

Casa da Oliveira

Casa da Oliveira (Casa das Oliveiras-G. Maps) is close to the village of Mesão-Frio (+/- 2 km), the gateway to Douro Vinhateiro. An old house, prior to 1950, was restored and maintains some of the original stone walls. It has 1 bedroom, a toilet, a living room with a sofa bed and an equipped kitchen, AC, TV, Wi-Fi and a barbecue grill outside. The views are magnificent over the region's vineyards and the Douro River. Excellent choice for a few days of rest, a week or a weekend.

On the farm, you can enjoy visits to the winery, tastings of our wines, and organized half-day tours of farms in the Douro and Vinho Verde regions. This family-owned house is located on a small farm overlooking the surrounding vineyards and the Serra do Marão and Serra das Meadas mountain ranges. The accommodation has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen. In winter, you can enjoy the fireplace.
