Lovely home and perfect for the four of us. Very close to town and very quiet. Easy access to wonderful restaurants. The check in was great and cannot thank them for also taking my niece to Station as we had to leave before her. Parking is not for feint hearted but good. If you cannot face the reverse then easy to park on road heading out towards station. Would stay again. Thanks

Beautiful house tucked away in quiet suburb, with easy access via tram or uber to the city centre. Great sized space to comfortably accommodate 8. Pool and open plan kitchen were a real luxury. Would highly recommend! Thanks Lucas

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

Good large house overall - good spot for a family. The location is very residential so not much to do around and not super close to the city centre by foot. The parking is good for 1 car so if you are multiple families it may be a bit tough. The house was clean, good appliances and amenities in the kitchen so perfect to cook. The outdoor space is nice and adds a plus to the house. The host is not super fast to respond and the check in is very late so to note if you have children as you can’t enter before 5pm. Very kids friendly and enough space for families to be around and feel at ease.

Perfect house! Impeccable cleanliness, more equipped than necessary, there was everything, especially in the kitchen… a joy for the gourmets that we are! Great bedding. Very good baby equipment. Very quiet environment, the view of the vineyards from the kitchen is exotic. Very responsive host, a plus. In short, we will gladly go back if we return to the area.

Delphine was a fantastic host! Being a large group, it’s always hard to find a suitable place but this was perfect. Watersports on our door step, and beautiful sunsets every night. As a host, Delphine was great… always answered my messages and helped when we had a huge storm that stopped the electrics for some hours! Thanks for a memorable stay!

Despite our express passage, we were able to appreciate all of Fabienne's little touches. The outside light to easily find the entrance at night, the coffee/tea available with small madeleines. The bedding was very good, just like the room. thank you

We were a group of 6 UK based cyclists seeking a great base to explore the outstanding area and wanting the superb level of accommodation the this fabulous property offered and delivered. Excellent level of equipment, beautiful outlook, extremely peaceful, short transfer time from Bordeaux airport Guillaume is a great host, when our flight was cancelled from our original booked date he responded very quickly to our request to postpone the booking by 24 hours and then extend it by 24 hours to allow for the flight changes at both ends of our break. A perfect place to discover the Bordeaux and Quinsac area in particular. In a beautiful little village, surrounded by vineyards and castles, you can enjoy a very pleasant climate. Finally, very close to Bordeaux, you can visit the city and enjoy the evening calm in a very relaxing accommodation.

I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

Exceptionally clean home! Quiet, functional and well-equipped. The bedding is comfortable. Beautiful terrace overlooking a green setting where you can hopefully see a squirrel having fun in the trees. 20 minutes from Bordeaux, it is nice to visit this beautiful city. We will go back without hesitation. See you soon…

Nice studio, well-appointed and very clean, quiet. Close to shops and easy to access. Léa and her husband are very friendly hosts. Very responsive. We had a great time.

The house is spacious, excellent bedding, the rooms are nice, wardrobes in each room which is appreciable for hanging clothes. The bathrooms and toilets are very clean like the whole house. Bright kitchen. We had a peaceful weekend and the house really met our expectations

We had a lovely stay at Thomas's; welcoming and caring, he was always responsive to our questions during the preparation of the stay; the accommodation is easy to find; the decoration neat; The atmosphere and accommodation is relaxing, the environment peaceful. We'll be back!
