Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cambes

My husband and I recently returned from a month-long stay at Alexandre and Precillia’s home. Our stay was perfect in every sense. The home was exactly as pictured, the location unbeatable for exploring all of Bordeaux and several day trips to the Left and Right Bank as well as Arcachon, etc. The walking distance to the tram and local grocery store(s) was also a nice benefit. A bit more about the home, it was very clean, well-organized and extremely comfortable. The washing machine and basement space were also very convenient; the basement kept our wine purchases at a perfect temperature! We felt safe and secure. It must be noted I am a persnickety traveler; we would stay again. Alexandre and Precillia we great hosts, accommodating, thoughtful and always available for questions or assistance. Your stay will not be disappointing.

Great stay. The house is very clean and so well-decorated! Small plus much appreciated: crib and mattress provided, towel for the pool, very functional kitchen as at home. The house is located in a very quiet residential area. Tram C a few minutes by car with a relay parking to visit Bordeaux. Sandrine is very responsive! We recommend it!

We had the loveliest week here. It’s a beautiful property, in a idyllic spot on the river, with a lovely pool and garden. The inside of the property was beautiful and felt brand new! We found we could walk to the train station and into the small town easily to explore the area. You will also have the friendliest hosts! Thank you for a memorable stay

we stopped at Mathieu and Madeleine's during our trip to the Var. Access to the accommodation, not far from the highway, is easy. We were warmly greeted by Madeleine (much nicer than the lockboxes!). A platter of cold cuts/cheese was waiting for us, which is very nice. The accommodation is simple but very well maintained. Located in the countryside, the silence is deafening and guarantees a peaceful night! we will keep the address for a future stop!

Cozy large house with beautiful swimming pool and beautiful views of vineyards, forest and valley. Very quiet and yet very close to Bordeaux and other beautiful historical sites. Pascal's wine tasting was a great opportunity to immediately initiate oneself in the Bordeaux wine. Thanks to Pascal's house, we had a fantastic week. A real paradise.

Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

We had a great time at Sophie's home for a weekend with kids, the accommodation and hospitality were perfect. Beautiful house and garden, impeccable, perfectly maintained, large and very well-equipped house, whether for adults or for children! The bedrooms are particularly large and the bedding very good. Sophie had left many nice little touches to make our stay easier, and she was very responsive and helpful during our exchanges. We highly recommend and will most likely come back with pleasure!

If you read my review, it's probably because the photos of the accommodation have already seduced you… and you're right: the reality is even more beautiful. Few places really impress me, but here, I was sincerely impressed. The decoration is tastefully thought out, the small touches are delicate, the cleanliness impeccable. You feel good, soothed, as if wrapped in a cocoon, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A special place, ideal to disconnect and recharge. Go there without a second thought.

Louis-Antoine was a welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable host who gave us a thorough and thoughtful introduction to both the apartment and the city. His recommendations for things to do and places to eat and explore in Bordeaux were spot-on and much appreciated. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beautiful Jardin Public, where we enjoyed several relaxing walks. It was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly felt at home. We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

We had a wonderful stay at Laurence's apartment. It was charming, well equipped, and perfectly located. The tram was a short walk away and the area was filled with restaurants and shops. Laurence answered all messages promptly, and provided clear and detailed instructions for checking in. We would highly recommend the apartment!

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Chateau Des Reves exceeded our expectations in every way! Nestled in the heart of a stunning vineyard, this 2-story retreat offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The backyard's swimming pool and breathtaking views of the grapevines were absolute heaven. The thoughtful gesture of placing a complimentary wine bottle added a lovely personal touch. Located just 15 minutes from Libourne's busy streets, Chateau Des Reves provided the ideal balance of peace and accessibility. Prompt Responsiveness of the host was another plus point. This is a place I would recommend to all holidayers seeking peace and tranquility. May be the price could be a tad lower to make it even more attractive. Overall a great experience.

Amazing house which is somehow even nicer and more spacious than in the photos. Charlotte and her husband were nearby and very helpful with any questions we had. It seemed expensive when booking but it was well worth it, it's an ideal place for a large group. We were two families with toddlers and it was perfect for us, very close to the tram and supermarket with a lovely big garden and Charlotte even had some toys available which they loved. The pool is safely fenced off and gated. We can't recommend it highly enough!
