This is the perfect, peaceful and private paradise in the near north area. The house was absolutely perfect, comfortable, everything was in its place, easy to use, and just as described, actually it was better! The beds were unbelievable, comfortable well dressed with perfect linens and crisp, white sheets, and towels. We brought labradoodle who was very at home, and welcomed without conditions. Upon arrival, there was a beautiful bottle of wine and a thank you card. We are so grateful for this incredible stay, and cannot wait to go back! The hosts were amazing, thoughtful, and although easy to reach, left us to ourselves to enjoy their beautiful home.

Me and my wife stayed at Kate's AirBNB for the Thanksgiving weekend. It was an amazing experience, comfy and cozy for us. We also enjoyed cooking our meals in the bbq grill plus attractions in that area. Kate and Jason were helpful and responsive. We will surely miss this place!!!

I booked this place to celebrate my best friend’s engagement and held a small gathering there to enjoy a nice weekend at a cottage to relax. We immediately felt comfortable and right at home. We had everything we needed there, and very close to the town next store for grocery runs, etc. No issues or complications, check in through check out was very smooth and easy. I can easily speak for myself and the rest of my party that we had a great weekend. Overall an amazing find, and we’d definitely want to stay again. 10/10 would recommend. We wanted a place to stay that was relatively close to Antoine Mountain, and a place that was peaceful and private. We were so lucky to find Alan's place, 15 minutes from Antoine Mountain, and only a few minutes from Mattawa (which had any food and supplies that we needed). We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the cabin. Alan was very helpful from the time we checked in until we checked out - always respecting our privacy. The cabin had all we needed to be cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful perk after skiing each day! We look forward to going back in the warmer months to be able to take advantage of how close the cabin is to various canoe routes and hiking trails. Thank you, Alan, for making it a great mini-vacation!
