Waterfront vacation rentals in Caledonian Canal

Centrally located, walking distance from the pier with private parking. Hard to find a better spot in Oban. Very clean, very well-equipped, large enough and comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen is great and there is a bit of a view on the harbour. Lorraine is an attentive host and very responsive. A very comfortable and uncomplicated stay. Would highly recommend.

We spent three days at Daniel's place and it was perfect for staying in Fort William and accessing nearby areas such as Glencoe. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen and parking were great to have. Best was that we were a family of 4 with two teenaged children and everyone liked being independent. The location couldn't have been more walkable. Even though right in town, it was also quiet. The entry hallway could be spruced up a bit and better smelling but that's it! We had one issue when my daughter tripped a breaker with her hair dryer. A reminder to get a converter as well as an adapter if coming from the US. Daniel responded immediately with where the breaker panel was located.

This Airbnb was amazing! It was a perfect way to end our time in Scotland. The location is perfect, the walk to town is beautiful as you’re right along the river and close to the bridge. It’s such a cozy apartment and in a quiet neighborhood. Rebecca is a great host, very responsive and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

We cannot recommend Carol and Martin's place enough! The views from the unit are incredible and the unit itself is absolutely spotless. It is so quiet and peaceful - zero road noise at all, just the lapping of the waves on the shore. The unit is fully stocked and there was even a basket of the most thoughtful local treats waiting for us when we arrived :) The shower was fantastic, too. We will be recommending the unit to our friends and family as it is one in a million.

Robert's place is in the perfect location for exploring Oban and the surrounding areas! It's a lovely apartment, with excellent views, and plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very easy to get to from the train, and Robert was a delightful host. Would definitely recommend!

Great apartment in a great location! The view from the lounge window is magnificent. We never used our car during our visit as everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Hopefully the apartment will be available when we next visit Oban. Will definitely recommend!

We had a quick one night stay with family, the place was incredible and Zoe was extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean and nice. Bathrooms were spotless. Comfy beds. Hot tub and Sauna worked great. The view is incredible. Nice private location but close to food and gas station. We wish we booked for more nights! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful cottage right on the shore. Everything was comfortable and clean. Perfect location to base ourselves to see Skye and Loch Ness. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We enjoyed a lovely stay while attending a wedding nearby. The house was perfect, so welcoming, homely and very clean. Kim was a responsive host from the off, advising on taxi numbers and great local recommendations for eating out and buying those last minute bits and bobs that you’ve likely forgot! This property was such a find, and we enjoyed watching the changing weather over the loch. Highly recommended.

This is not a house, it’s a home. It has everything you need for the family to be comfortable right from the moment you arrive with something for everyone. Standout for the young children a fab garden with an awesome trampoline. Standout for the adults space and comfort to totally relax. What takes it from great to exceptional are the thoughtful touches …… and there are a lot but it’s most of all the welcome and hospitality of Kay our host who kept in touch to make sure all was well and gave us brilliant tips on where to go suitable for each of our parties needs. If you are looking for off-the-beaten-track luxury with incredible wildlife, views of beautiful Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains which are second to none - then this is the place for you! Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay here and we were sad to leave. We highly recommend this Air BnB and we would love to visit again. Note: we were thankful to find teabags and coffee - but bring your own milk. ;)

We booked relatively last minute to stay with Michelle, yet we were catered for above and beyond. The wonderful little touches of cheese and biscuits, milk and juice, not to mention the lovely easter treats. We felt very much at home and extremely comfortable in the house, it is so homely. The location is superb as you can walk everywhere, we didnt use the car once from arriving to leaving. We walked to boat trips and restaurants, as well as to the ferry to Kerrera. Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. We had the most amazing time staying here! Absolutely stunning location, loads of places to explore nearby, would highly recommend. Carol was fab and super helpful, we had absolutely no issues at all. Really can’t recommend enough!

We were so impressed with bothering the apartment and James. We stayed here for a week using the apartment and Oban as our home-base for island hopping and excursions. Location is great for ferries, food, views, and local hikes. Very clean, and even better than the pictures. Beautiful views, with well maintained historic interior. Would recommend to anyone!

It was a spacious apartment , aesthetically pleasing and lovely greens all around. Sandra was always responsive and friendly. Overall a fab stay when travelling with parents and kid.

We live in the USA now, but while visiting Argyll (where I was born) we stayed for 2 nights at John’s place in Inveraray. Beautiful views; a well furnished, neat and tidy, modern-looking apartment; easy check-in/check-out; and a responsive, friendly host……what more could anyone ask for?! We highly recommend John’s place and would have absolutely no hesitation in booking it again.
