Lulu was an AMAZING host. We arrived late for our check-in, but the space was made very cozy for our arrival. Lulu knew our small group of three ladies were there celebrating turning 30 this year, so she had a cake waiting for us, accompanied by a happy birthday sign and candles. It was seriously the sweetest gesture and was one of the best cakes we had ever had!! We never used the fire pit, but it looked like it would’ve been so relaxing right by the river. The outdoor shower was also my favorite shower that I had on our trip. I can’t recommend this booking enough and I wish Lulu all the best with her expansion of the property! 🩷

We had an incredible time staying and Rebecca and Ben’s place. It was cozy and peaceful. We loved cooking in the spacious kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub, and hanging out by the fire pit. Rebecca and Ben were incredibly responsive and gracious. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We loved staying at this yurt! It was even more beautiful in person! There were some amazing animals on the property -an excited, sweet dog and a super friendly cat who joined us for breakfast one morning. The campgrounds were clean and peaceful. It was not buggy at all. Cooking our oatmeal in the yurt was easy and fun. The hosts even do your dishes for you, which was a nice surprise. We even saw a shimmer of the northern lights. I highly recommend staying at this yurt. It was the ultimate glamping experience.

Jason was very friendly and responsive, and correct about the Fire Island Bakery, that place is great! I would love to stay here again.

The cabin is well stocked with games, kitchen and other accessories that is helpful for the region. The highlight was the hot tub with incredible views.

We absolutely loved our stay! it rained the entire weekend we was here and we stayed dry, and warm! and rain was so peaceful on the tent! very private, clean, spacious, and had what you needed ! Host was AMAZING as responding quickly (even @11pm) , very friendly and set on making sure our stay was amazing! 10/10 recommend, and will be booking here for future wasilla trips..

Dawn has thought of everything- comfy beds, lots of pillows, linens, blankets, and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom has everything you need. It’s so quiet and peaceful. We recently took our family on a vacation to Alaska, and staying at Heather’s place truly made the trip unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the breathtaking views that surrounded the property. The house itself was a dream- beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The fully stocked kitchen made preparing meals a breeze, and the cozy bedrooms offered perfect sleeping accommodations for our family of five. One of the highlights of our stay was the unique, Alaska-inspired decor throughout the house. There were so many adorable knickknacks and pieces of local art that made us feel like we were really immersed in the beauty and spirit of Alaska. It was clear that Heather put a lot of thought into creating a authentic, cozy atmosphere. Heather’s hospitality went above and beyond. She was incredibly helpful during our stay and provided us with tips about things to do in the area.We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a better place to stay. We will be back!

This was the perfect little getaway for my husband and I’s first wedding anniversary. It was peaceful and secluded. We were close enough to town that if we wanted to go out we could have but with all of the kitchen supplies we cooked every last meal. The kitchen was by far our favorite space (though the patio and wood-fired hot tub were a close second). And as two ex-baristas the espresso machine was a great bonus. Michelle was so responsive and helpful! When we did have questions we did not have to wait long for a response. We would definitely stay here again and you should too!

An incredible cozy mountain escape. We came into Eagle River to be near our solider stationed at JBER and this property was everything and more! It provided the fall views we had hoped for, the home-like feeling we wanted to share and was the perfect home base for exploring many small towns like Seward, Whittier, Talkeetna, Palmer and more. The best night was 8 hrs of viewing the Northern Lights from the large patio with clear views. Great communication, comfortable beds, living room and a well equipped kitchen. Thank you for an unforgettable experience at this magical location. We will certainly be back to this gem and have friends already planning their own visits.

Kyle was an attentive host. The camper was exactly as described, well stocked, well organized, very clean. Kyle communicated well, and even helped us program the TV so we could watch our daughter’s college volleyball game on YouTube. Kyle created an online list of his favorite restaurants/shops/attractions in the area. We walked to dinner at the Matanuska Brewery and had the Poke Nachos that Kyle recommended. Yum! It was the nicest camper I’ve stayed in. I find most camper mattresses too hard for my hip arthritis and usually bring a thin blow up camping mat to slide under the foam mattress. But I forgot it this trip. The bedding was so cozy that I almost stayed in the bed anyway, but it was a bit too hard for me so I moved to the couch. The couch was super comfy!! My son said he slept great on the bunk. We appreciate Kyle keeping the cleaning cost down and the clear cleaning instructions and supplies he provided. I was happy to do my part to leave the camper clean. Thanks Kyle.

My family met up for the first time in 8 years for mama’s 50th birthday and this place came through. It’s clean, very homey, welcoming with the welcome Jamie & family SIGN, WIFI INFORMATION ETC. There was a little playground in the back of the house kids enjoyed very much. The Boys enjoyed the hot tub and bonfire AS WELL. The space FELT LIKE HOME and mama was very VERY happy. Very clean and easy to navigate. Love a lot of beds available for family sleepover, lots of towels, blankets, pillows etc. Altogether, THE BEST-We will definitely book with them again. THANK YOU.

This is one of the most well stocked rentals our family has stayed at. They had everything you need to cook (tons of plates and cutlery, spices, pot & pans,etc) and relax (towels, extra pillows, blankets, bathroom essentials). We felt like it was home away from home. The house was clean, well stocked and in a safe and beautiful location. Highly recommend for families traveling to Wasilla. Beds and sheets were super comfortable as well!

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Peaceful and very little noise even though it’s an apartment in the lower level of the Host's house. The fresh eggs were a delicious treat along with the local coffee and tea provided. They also offer a few local items for purchase. This place is close to Hatchers pass which is fabulous for the outdoor enthusiasts. Highly recommend!

This is a mother in law with separate entrance in the heart of a farming community with good hiking and a reindeer farm in (moderate) walking or bike riding distance. North and South Butte trails are in the extended neighborhood, Pyrahs U-Pick farms with the harvest Festivals and music, Jim creek has Horse back riding on a glacier area tour, and weekend races in the summer. Close enough to town to get some food at Vagabonds or Turkey Red, enjoy the stay-cation; theres a herd of the cutest puppies. There are hundred of miles of walkable and campable trails in this area if you are inclined, accessible from your door step.

We enjoyed our stay here. The home is very comfortable, clean, and more spacious than we expected. It is stocked with a lot of extras including fresh farm eggs. Barbara was there to greet us and show us around. She is very friendly and responsive to messages. The property is beautiful and well maintained. If you need a place to stay in the Palmer area, I recommend Lazy Mountain Acres #2.

Enjoyed this cabin so much we couldn't wait to go back. This is our second time in one month. So cozy with all the amenities. Fun times roasting marshmallows at the outside fire pit with views of the snow covered mountains. Wonderful Nordic skiing on groomed trails in Hatchers pass at independence mine and archangel road. Great way to celebrate solstice in Alaska !
