Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

new studio of 20 m2 with an equipped kitchenette (basic coffee machine with washable filter) separate bathroom, all enlarged by a small veranda of 6 m2 and 40 m2 of furnished terrace (tables, chairs) and especially awnings on the entire facade overlooking a landscaped garden. Sleeps 2 adults. Sheets, towels, tea towels, cleaning products provided. the village has a train station (Limoges/Périgueux line) located a few minutes' walk from the cottage. I can pick you up by car.

Lakeside cabin with space for 1-4 people. This lovingly restored boathouse will allow you to switch off from the modern world, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

The entire heated pool will be available from mid-May to mid-October.
