Sleeps 2 adults. Sheets, towels, tea towels, cleaning products provided. the village has a train station (Limoges/Périgueux line) located a few minutes' walk from the cottage. I can pick you up by car.

This lovingly restored boathouse will allow you to switch off from the modern world, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

The house sits in a secluded property in a one hectare wooded park, surrounded by woods. -4/5 people - Ground floor: Living room with fireplace and a pellet stove + 1 bathroom and toilet. - First floor: 2 bedrooms. The 1st equipped with a double bed. The second is equipped with a single bed and a double bed. The sheets are provided and the beds are made. Towels are not provided.
