Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Sleeps 2 adults. Sheets, towels, tea towels, cleaning products provided. the village has a train station (Limoges/Périgueux line) located a few minutes' walk from the cottage. I can pick you up by car.

Located in the countryside, in a wooded area, the cabin is 3 minutes from all amenities (bakery, organic grocery store, supermarkets, frozen food store...) and 3 minutes from the heart of Saint-Junien, (weekly market on Saturday morning, covered halls, bars, restaurants, doctors, hospital...). It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

You can walk around our ponds in peace, meeting birds, flowers, and maybe deer. Family equestrian center 1 km away, leisure park 5 km away (swimming, tree climbing, etc.), and many hiking trails. Not to mention the limousin heritage. The owners live in another house within the park.
