Designed to compliment the beauty of the creation that surrounds it, the cabin offers its guests peace and seclusion, yet easy access to nearly endless opportunities for outdoor activity. Whether you are interested in a small group retreat, a scrapbooking getaway, time away with some friends, or a family vacation, you will find that great care has been taken to create a place of comfort, relaxation, and an atmosphere that allows you to connect--with family and friends, with God and His creation. Situated on 3 1/2 wooded acres with over a million acres of San Isabel National Forest out the front door, the 3000 square foot cabin will comfortably accommodate a group up to 11. The cabin is easily accessed from Denver (2 hours) and Colorado Springs (1 1/2 hours) and is only 20 minutes away from the recreational town of Buena Vista. Whether you want to stay tucked in or be outdoors, the cabin has everything you could need or want. The house itself has wi-fi, a computer, a 42" HD TV, a Blu-Ray Disc player (with over 100 DVD's to choose from), a Bose sound system, board games, an 800 ft2 deck (that overlooks San Isabel National Forest), 3 different sitting areas, and mountain views in every direction. If you want to enjoy the outdoors and the many activities the area has to offer, you will find that there is more to do than what you have time for! We have bikes at the cabin if you want to explore nearby, with trails to San Isabel right out the door. Within 20 minutes of the cabin, you will world class white water rafting and fly fishing, mountain biking, jeep tours, horseback riding, hot springs, ATV rentals, hot air balloon rides, zip lines, ghost towns, endless hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hay rides and sleigh rides. Several ski areas are within a 45 minute drive. Beauty, rest, refreshment. That is what you will find at The Cabin at Trout Creek.

There's Wi-Fi, in-floor heating, wheelchair accessibility, queen-size bed with freshly ironed pillowcases, Keurig, small frig, microwave, tv, enough off-street parking for two cars and a trailer, private bath. Tucked Away Stay - Close To Town and In Nature

Come enjoy our private 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. Enjoy the joys of children on property and views of incredible mountains with the wildlife that frequents our "back yard". Relax in our private guest area locked off from the rest of our home including a kitchenette and laundry area, all separated from the rest of the house by a custom built and locking doorway. We accept dogs but cannot accept cats due to other guests’ allergies. There is a pet fee.

A comfy queen bed and memory foam loveseat futon round out the accommodations. Two small children will fit on the futon, but four full-size people would require you to utilize a twin air mattress we can provide. If you are looking for affordable and comfortable in BV, this is the spot for you! Basic but cozy and clean!

This affordable option was originally built as railroad worker housing, and I bought it as a raft guide/teacher over 15 years ago, and used it as my first home and base for adventure. Now I love sharing it with others. Rustic and affordable- for those who don't need fancy, but like being close to town

This log home is 1600 sf, with an addition locked off for the owners' residence, each with private entrances and driveways. There is plenty of space for parking for several vehicles. Our cabin is perfectly located in the small mountain town of Buena Vista. It’s a short distance to downtown, South Main, and the gold medal fishing and world class whitewater on the Arkansas River. However, it has a quiet secluded feel and easy access to the hot springs that are just outside of town. You’ll love our cottage because of the well-kept stylish interior, the park-like outdoor space, and great views. It’s an ideal base camp for couples and solo adventurers.
