This was a very beautiful place to find peace and relaxation. I was not ready to leave. I plan on returning and visiting the same unit. It was very cozy as well and it had everything you needed.

Very homey environment with modest accoutrements that were plenty for us. We enjoyed watching the neighbors goats. Great spot to bring your dogs. Small village of other rentals but far enough apart to feel private. Close enough to town to go out or grab provisions but far enough to get a little quiet. All around great stay.

Judy is a wonderful host! She communicated with us immediately. She showed us all the amenities of the property and the house when we arrived. The house was a cute decorated Texas theme pattern. She thought of everything in the house! Beds were comfortable! The living room had a pool table and a smart TV. The outside sitting area was very peaceful and serene! Lots of chairs to sit on and take in the views! The lake was beautiful as well as the pool! This was a little slice of heaven on Lake Buchanan. I wish we had more time because the area was beautiful, scenic, and relaxing! Thank you to Judy for hosting your home, being responsive, giving food requests, and providing extras on the lake. We hope to return soon!

One of my favorite places I have ever stayed! The house looked exactly like the pictures and was perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. It felt private and safe and the surroundings were beautiful. You can tell every detail was really thought out - my favorite part being the water color painting palette we found in the clubhouse. Even the coffee provided in the airbnb was from the local spot that was recommended nearby. I really could not recommend this place enough and hope to be back soon!

Had a wonderful stay with my family. We were in the area for a wedding and it was the perfect house for our family. Great space for all of us, comfortable rooms, beautiful and peaceful back yard. Kids loved the pool table and shuffleboard table. House stayed cool in the Texas summer heat! Will definitely stay here again when we're in the area!

Had an amazing stay at salty dog ranch the animals are amazing to wake up to every morning we had tears of joy driving away with them in the rear view mirror. The cabin was just perfect and they have everything you’d ever need to cook and never even have to leave your entire stay. You can tell they take pride in their guest stay and the Airbnb itself. You’re about 20 minutes away in any given direction to Johnson city for wineries ect or to Krause springs to cool off. Untamed winery was a huge hit and their pizzas are amazing. Along with bluebonnet cafe being our favorite Restaraunt during the stay amazing home made pies/ home style cookin.

The house is very spacious. The lake is low but you walk down the stairs to the water. The house was very well stocked and the air conditioner works great. A 20 minute drive to Burnet. Plenty of dining establishments, antique shops and HEB for groceries. Overall we had a great stay and if you like the water, this is a good place to vacation. I do recommend taking the Vanishing Texas River Cruise. The guide is very knowledgeable on the area.

This cozy little cabin was everything we were hoping for and more! Adorably decorated and situated in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Our family lived enjoying our morning coffee and tea on the front porch while we watched for deer and birds of all kinds! What makes this stay a real treasure is Drew's hospitality - he was so communicative and provided great insight into the home and the area. We felt like we were staying at a family cabin! We will definitely be coming back!

I can’t say enough about this place. It was quiet, beautiful, peaceful. It’s def a ranch. So if that’s jets you’re looking for. Look no further. We spent hours exploring and driving around. Great host and great place.

This Airbnb was perfect for us. The wood inside was beautiful. The space was instantly comfortable and welcoming. The WiFi was great to allow my husband to be able to work remotely while my sister and I headed out during the day.

They provided a wonderful service and accommodations. The area was a perfect retreat to be able to enjoy the river and the landscape. The house was comfortable and cozy for my wife and I and we hope to return.

We had a great time at the river house. The property is so close to the river. Everything was clean and we were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here for a Hill Country getaway.

We had to most amazing weekend we ended up extending our stay. We loved the lake, the amenities at the cabin resort and most of all the hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again.

We like the cowboy cabin, it was clean and small. We only needed a place to mostly sleep as we were going to be going around town, but we are planing on coming back and explore the creek and the other amenities. Even though there are more rentals at the property, it feels private and safe. My kids loved the cabin, they felt they were living in their Little House in the Prairie era. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Thank you!

Was a wonderful stay. Rented some jet skis nearby, had a wedding in the barn next door. Was super close to everything and very affordable. Great little getaway

David and Lisa are exceptional hosts, offering a beautiful property that perfectly complements their attentive hospitality. The cabins are well-constructed, featuring efficient AC/Heat controls for both the bedroom and living area with separate settings to satisfy everyone. Each cabin is thoughtfully stocked with all the necessities. They ensured the fire pit was always ready and the propane tanks full, making our nightly family cookouts effortless and relaxing. Despite the cabins being relatively close to each other, privacy was never an issue. The wrap-around porch, shielded by trees, provided a secluded outdoor experience, even on windy days. David and Lisa's personal touch deeply enriched our stay, opening our hearts and minds to the beauty of God's country—the hill country—as it was meant to be experienced. Definitely recommend visiting during spring. The property is filled with lushes bluebonnets and other wildflowers. It was absolutely beautiful and we will be returning!

Love the cabin ! Board games , it was nice having off the kids off the electronics for awhile would definitely come back .💓 my children enjoyed the stayed and the creek

Fun stay! Exactly as described in previous positive reviews. Canoes were a blast, communication was good. Very convenient location and close to town.
