Monthly Rentals in Broxa Forest

Michael was absolutely fantastic! He made sure we had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The cottage itself was breathtaking—such a charming place! With delightful local pubs and restaurants just a stone's throw away, we had so many options to choose from. We can't wait to go back! It was the perfect getaway, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our relaxing break!

We had a lovely stay at Folly Gill. Lorna was really warm and friendly settling us in with a gift basket and flowers! Folly gill was warm and comfortable (loved the underfloor heating!) with some particularly well thought out touches (pillows of different thicknesses!). We had fun exploring the local area with the beach and cliff walk from Boggle Hole to Robin Hood’s Bay and back, a particular highlight. We ate at the Plough in Scalby which was lovely, not having enough time to check out other recommendations. We loved seeing all the birds, particularly the pheasants, and owls and the night sky at Folly Gill (a dark sky reserve) was a revelation! Thank you!

A great little place, with a nice warm welcome and a lovely basket of goodies on arrival. Easy to find and the description was spot on. Local shops for essentials within a few minutes walk. Off road parking and so easy to walk into Scarborough town or South Bay (10-15mins). A great base to see different towns. Whitby, Filey and Robin Hood's Bay, all within easy reach. Emma helped with a parking permit, saved us a few pounds. Our dog had a great holiday running on the beaches (but dogs are restricted on some beaches after 1st May) Would definitely recommend. Fantastic find for the active person, the cottage was exactly as described and the location was ideal for myself and my family plus our dogs to venture around the local area be mindful that everything is a walk as there are no bars and restaurants or amenities around the area which Angela preinformed on the listing so we knew this you can walk to the local town but it is around 3 mile away and on mainly single track roads which was fine for us, but those less able may struggle but as we said, this was well informed by the host. The cottage was clean the beds were comfortable. Do you mean it were perfect and the little veranda that is secured? Was ideal to not have to worry about our pets also. We will definitely be back.
