Monthly Rentals in Brown County

I sent my husband here for a little sabbatical for a few days before starting his new job. He loved the serenity, the local visitors (turkeys & deer) & it gave him a chance to work on a few things without the distraction of three kids & a busy house!

Gregory's place was beautiful. it was very clean and had everything we needed. my favorite part was the deck. I loved the swing!

Brian's place is very charming and is as described. Very clean, nicely decorated, you can see the bones are good but it is old with some warping wood in places. The bed, sheets and pillows were very comfortable and I'm kind of picky about that! Lots of outdoor seating. The pond with fishing poles, pier and paddle boat were all a fun treat while we were at the home. We spent most of our time in downtown Nashville and Brown County State Park which was our main interest and they never disappoint! There was a huge storm which knocked out power the second night we were there and because it is off the beaten path (which we liked!) the power company took almost a day to get the power back on. Really no big deal except not being able to charge cell phones which we didn't need much anyway. He had plenty of candles, flashlights and extra batteries. We had a very nice stay and Brian was always helpful, responsive and friendly.

This was an incredible experience! I say experience, because the time spent in the house was an experience. The Hidden Shroom IS the best hidden gem in Nashville, Indiana! I am an avid traveler and have never felt so well cared for by a host. At the same time, we were given complete privacy and respect. The place is immaculate, and you immediately feel welcome and at home. It is a feast for the eyes, beautifully decorated – the pictures do not do it justice. It’s like you are in the heart of Nashville, IN and yet in your own perfect little world. The location is perfect for any and everything you want to do in Nashville.
