Cabin vacation rentals in Brown County

The cabin absolutely adorable and had so many different areas for sitting and having side conversations. It is “old” and seemingly handmade maybe mid-1900s (I’m taking a guess) so the stairs are irregular and a few other charming quirks… and was very easy to get comfortable in right away. The host also had a number of personal touches to welcome us- including a few snacks in the kitchen… and the cupboards were well appointed in general with the extras you might need. We only had one night and we made the most of it- but we woke up wishing we could stay longer and are already planning a return.

Great spot for a getaway with all the amenities that one would need. Cabin was clean and comfortable!

Visited the cabin for a weekend getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday. This place was perfect and so incredibly cute. The thoughtful touches like leaving my husband a birthday card were the cherry on top. Will definitely book at one of their properties again.

I had been looking for a getaway for quite a while and this is just what I needed. quiet peaceful and close to a lot of beautiful Woods and areas to shop at. all my questions were answered and I had relaxed beautiful time

Lots of space in the living areas, huge kitchen with lots of utensils and cookware. Unfortunately, it was pretty rainy during my visit or else we would have utilized the outdoor areas more. The top and lower decks were spacious and private. Only issue we had is that the wifi wasn't working when we arrived... We quickly got this fixed by resetting the router. Important to note that nobody in my party had cells service in the area, so the wifi was crucial. Great visit overall, though! I would definitely go back.

I was in town with my daughter and best friend for the eras tour. We wanted to book outside of the city so we could come back to quiet and have a relaxing place to just enjoy our weekend getaway. Curt’s place was the perfect spot for this.

The Red Log Cabin was a beautiful space that provided lots of privacy and peace. She has cute easter stuff set up, as well as snacks! Marisa was responsive to any and all messages I sent. She was an awesome host.

Peaceful, clean and comfortable space. Well stocked for cooking and plenty of room for our family of 4. The hot tub was clean and private. Only 10 minutes to little Nashville, if you want to do some shopping or eat out, but we could have just stayed in place and would have been happy with just being there. Our teenagers enjoyed walking along the creek during the day and playing board games at night. We enjoyed our time there and would return.

Angela's place was awesome. If you are visiting this area, it would be tough to find a better place to stay. Angela, was on top of check in/out guidance and made sure we were all set for stay. Great host and a great home.

We booked this cabin last minute and are so happy we did! It’s not far from downtown which is where everything is that we wanted to do. Hard Truth, among other wineries and distilleries, is why we decided to venture to Brown County yet again. The host is fast to reply and very transparent about the ins and outs. The property is stunning, the cabin has a lot of character, was super clean and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed looking and reading about all the history in the living room area. The multiple bedrooms and bathrooms were fun to pick which we wanted to occupy! We’ll definitely be back and plan to stay more than one night next time. Before we left, we did walk over to say hi to the horses. The hot tub was an added bonus, too. We plan to save this listing and share it with our friends. Definitely worth it being only a few hours from our home!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Sanctuary, and it was a delightful experience! Nestled in a beautiful wooded setting, this spacious yet quaint house offered the perfect escape. The hosts were absolutely lovely and incredibly responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. One of the highlights was relaxing in the hot tub at night while gazing up at the stars—such a magical experience! Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin

This may have been the most beautiful wooded, quiet, and beautiful cabin we've had the opportunity to stay in. It's very clear how much this home has been loved, with how well it's been taken care of. Pet friendly was the most important to me, being the mother of two fuzzy furbabies. We celebrated Mavis's 10th birthday here, and the host had everything needed to bake her a strawberry cake. Everything was set up perfectly for the humans and the furbabies alike. This place exudes charm! The house is cozy, comfy and relaxing. And it was in the perfect location: a private serene and beautiful setting, yet only a few minutes drive to town. We had such a peaceful and enjoyable stay. The host was very attuned to our needs. Highly recommended!

Peaceful getaway in a private setting but not too remote. Great space for hanging out with games and hot tub for entertainment. The hosts were attentive to our needs and responded quickly to questions. Plan to go back again next year.

We had the perfect stay at Marisa’s cabin! Everything was just great clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed. Communication was excellent, she responded super quickly and was really helpful. Highly recommend!

I could not have been more satisfied with our stay. We wanted a peaceful and private cabin that was close enough to town to enjoy, and this property delivered on every aspect of the hot tub was nice and hot and perfect for mornings and nights with a nip in the air, and the fire pit made evenings nice and toasty. Inside, the cabin had everything we could possibly need: good WiFi and a full kitchen, and it was decorated with plenty of woodsy charm. The town is a quick 5 min drive away, and filled with great shops and restaurants. The property gives you all tje peace and privacy you could ask for, and has plenty of space to go walk around and enjoy the beautiful Brown County nature. I could not recommend it enough!

My family has stayed in this cabin 3 times. It’s absolutely beautiful. Everything you need is right there. 15 min to town which is perfect. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed, the master bedroom felt luxurious with a king bed, walk-in closet, and balcony, and the sunroom was a great spot to enjoy all of our meals (the weather was gorgeous!). Our kids loved the game room, the kayak and canoe on the pond, and the hammock. We went into Nashville for the day and enjoyed shopping, great restaurants, and a few distilleries. The host was wonderful, very responsive to any questions we had.

The cabin was perfect for 4 families to gather together but also enjoy time apart. Beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodations. Would definitely recommend to others.

Elaine's place was wonderful! It was clean, well organized, and beautifully decorated. She has thought of everything. While the long gravel road to get there was a little intimidating, it was well worth it. When I first arrived, the home and rooms seemed smaller than they do in the pictures. However, as I walked around I was pleased with the space and layout as it includes 3 levels, plus outdoor and garage (gym) space. My favorite spots were the hot tub and loft.

This was our second time staying at this property and we once again loved our stay. the cottage is modern and will appointed with two TV's and an accessible shower. the cabin is rustic in the best way, with a real wood fireplace and very comfortable beds. Our two families were both very comfortable for our stay and loved the peace and quiet. We got great use out of the fire pit and the beautiful grounds. Thanks so much for another stellar stay!
