Monthly Rentals in Brouchaud

The location was convenient for walking into the little village of Cubjac with many surrounding towns within an hours drive. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed which was perfect as we cooked most of our meals at the house. We also appreciated the charcoal grill. The property was absolutely stunning. We were in awe of the main house as we drove up the driveway. We enjoyed walking around the garden and on the trails in the surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and the dining room, living room, and outdoor seating was perfect for 2 couples. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was good for showers. We did learn that you won’t get hot water if you try to shower while the dishwasher is running. 😂 Communication with Catherine and Maxence was great. They were always responsive and Maxence very insightfully helped us plan our itineraries for several day trips including markets, wineries, hikes, and gardens.

Great stay. Very well-equipped house, we had clear explanations and good advice. Only regret, we did not anticipate booking at the farm hostel 1min walk away which looked great and typical.

Wonderful cottage near a picturesque village surrounded by nature. Our hosts were lovely and kind and even booked a restaurant for us because we struggle with French. :) We would love to come again to explore the beautiful countryside even more. Highly recommended!
