Absolutely magical stay in Brookdale! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of this property. The gentle sounds of the creek just outside set the perfect tone for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area, complete with a stunning outdoor fireplace, became our favorite spot to unwind each evening under the stars. Inside, the house was just as impressive—beautifully maintained, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed. It was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking up our vacation breakfasts. Every detail made it feel like a true home away from home. Our kids didn’t want to leave. And the location? Simply unbeatable. Nestled among the towering, awe-inspiring redwoods, it felt like we were in our own private forest retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, magical setting. This place is a hidden gem—we’re already planning our next visit!

Ellen's place is a very nice quiet place to stay and enjoy a cozy day/night. The views outside are great and there are a lot of places to just relax on a cold day. the only inconvenience is the area around the property. To get there can be tricky, especially at night, and when it's rainy. And parking, especially with a large car is very hard especially if you have to reverse your way out, or reverse in, especially with the steep driveway. Other than that the property was perfect, and everything felt right, Ellen is a very nice host.

John's place was very comfortable and well furnished in a quiet woodsy setting. We enjoyed the kitchen setup and luxurious fridge, were able to cook nice meals and rest in the quiet with great lighting.

This flat was cute. It is only two people, and it is a small space. I liked the space with a bed, two chairs, and a nightstand. The kitchen was small, but we would get the job done if we needed to cook. The fridge was a little loud but typical for small surroundings. Gowa was easy to get a hold of and liked you could do laundry if need be. In the morning, you can see all of the big redwood trees. The sheets were genuine cotton and comfy. I hope I can stay again.
