Super little cottage in a small hamlet opposite a brook and forest. Super clean, very comfy beds and an old range in the sitting room where we had a cosy evening in front of the fire. Max was a perfect host with easy communication and very welcoming, coming out to meet us when we arrived. A lovely 20 minute walk to the nearest pub. We popped into the church just round the corner for tea and scones and were greeted by the kindest and friendliest community of people we have met. Super little place for a restful night away. And thank you for the unexpected Prosecco and chocolates! Very thoughtful x

We had a lovely few days at the Croft, the location and views are beautiful and peaceful. The house is amazing and Sam the host has thought of everything. Our children loved the playroom area and feeding the friendly sheep. We did lots of nice walks and activities local to the Croft. Highlights for us were the outside seating area with beautiful views, log fire and the quality of all the amenities. Would definitely recommend

This little house is so cosy with the wood burner and everything you need for a getaway in the country. Watch the kestrels hunt through the window and make friends with the goats and chickens. Wonderful little brook and woods to explore and a wee paddle around the lake as dear ran past was such a treat. This is on a farm and not a palace but if you want a private getaway on a farm with access to beautiful countryside - this does the job perfectly. Holly’s cottage is an absolute gem tucked away in the beautiful English countryside. The living room and kitchen are much larger than they appear in the pictures, providing a great amount of space—even for those with a slightly larger family. Everything was excellently maintained and very clean. The bathroom with the heated floor was an absolute treat as we stayed over the cold Christmas period. Holly’s father was extremely friendly and assisted us several times throughout our stay. Holly was extremely communicative and helpful from booking all the way through to checking out. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone interested in staying here. 10/10
