Monthly Rentals in Bretherdale Head

This is a really lovely "cabin"........spotlessly clean , with all necessary equipment and very friendly host. Knowledge of the area was readily available and the newborn lambs provided plenty of entertainment . Mixed weather for our 3 night stay, but we were really cosy . Ideal area to explore , being so near the Yorkshire Dales and also within easy drive to the popular towns and villages of the Lake District. Host is absolutely lovely , welcomed us with home baked scones. Great location , beautiful views, clear instructions and directions. Cottage was quaint and cosy , nicely decorated. We could’ve spent our entire weekend inside the cottage but wanted to take in all the local scenery. 10/10 would recommend ! Will definitely be visiting again 😊

I really enjoyed my stay with Alison. Good communication and a really well kitted out place (especially if you like to cook yourself). I would highly recommend her as a house. Orton itself is lovely and has some amazing walks nearby!
