Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald

We had a wonderful time with Daniel and Martin. Everything was perfect - and so we could fully enjoy our little break from the first minute of our arrival. A cozy home with fireplace, sauna, a nice little garden and a great view, a beautiful landscape and hiking trails right outside the front door. The apartment has everything it needs to feel at home immediately. Everything is very tasteful and very lovingly furnished, everything is very clean and well maintained. A big thank you to Martin and Daniel for the uncomplicated communication, the very warm welcome and the many useful pieces of information and tips. A big thank you but also for the very delicious stone oven bread. This is pure hospitality! We are very much looking forward to our next visit with Martin and Daniel, two wonderful hosts.

Nothing but great things to say about Janina’s home. It is beautiful with a spacious living area and kitchen. The bedrooms are all of a good size and the surrounding area is quiet with lots to do nearby. The hosts are communicative and supportive and they helped my family and I explore the best of the region. We had a wonderful time, it was a perfect stay.

Beautiful house with a grande view of Sankt Blasien and the dome. We were there with 9 people, had more than the space we needed in a cosy house with places to join as a group as wel as places to be by oneself. Very well equipped. Good beds. We had a great time. We all would love to come back.

We stayed in the beautiful vacation home for the second time and Petra and Roger and felt absolutely comfortable again. The house is just beautiful and it has everything you need. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in the countryside, this is definitely the perfect place to stay. We were able to enjoy the sun on the terrace and in the garden, but you can also do a lot in the surrounding area. Petra and Roger are great hosts who are always available and made our vacation even more enjoyable with their tips. Thanks for this wonderful vacation with you - we will be happy to come back! 💕

Easy to find with incredibly kind hosts, this loft exceeded all expectations! It was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need—especially in the kitchen, which had every tool and appliance imaginable. Our stay was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the serene atmosphere. This is by far the best Airbnb we’ve experienced, and we can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

The place was perfect for us, spent a day in Strasbourg and slept just outside the center. The city was easy to reach by tram. The apartment was just very sweet and comfortable, you felt right at home and very safe. The hostess handing us the key and leading us into the apartment was very warm. Everything perfect!

I had a great need for calm, to reconnect with nature, and thanks to Carole and Daniel's place, particularly adorable, welcoming, discreet and available hosts, I was really able to recharge. Everything was perfect despite the rainy weather that didn't stop me and my partner from enjoying beautiful hikes directly accessible from the house, recommended by Carole whose instructions were very clear. The accommodation perfectly matches the description, a large well-appointed living room, well-equipped kitchen (attention no oven, just a microwave oven with a grill function, we had the info thanks to a comment and had done our shopping accordingly), nice bathroom, quality bedding and towels, and full of small practical touches (welcome aperitif, coffee pods, tea bags, tissues, books, dvds...). This corner of the mountain is really a haven of peace that is worth a visit!

This was one of the BEST apartments I have ever stayed in! It was so cozy and had everything needed for the perfect stay. It was truly the most well stocked apartment I’ve ever stayed in! The fact that it’s technically an attic makes it so charming, especially with the high wooden ceiling and view of surrounding cottages. Both the bed and couch were comfy, and we saved a lot of money cooking at home! We didn’t use the loft, but it’s yet another cute addition to the apartment. Gianna is an incredibly kind and friendly host, and she really made sure we felt welcomed. And before I even realized it, her husband had carried my 50lb luggage up the long winding stairs that led to the apartment! The only single downside is that the apartment is not in the city center so buses and trains have to be used, but the bus stop is across the street! It is well worth staying here, and I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone! ♥️

Wonderful place and very friendly hosts. We were there as a family with a toddler and schoolchild and felt very comfortable right from the beginning. We will be happy to come back and thank you very much for everything!

We came to spend two nights at Thomas and Catharina's because we booked Friday at Europapark. The apartment is very nice, everything is very clean and the hosts are lovely. We talked a lot with Thomas who gave us good places to eat, he even drove us to the park! You can trust them without a second thought. We'll be happy to see them again if we return to the area. Pierre is a great host and always immediately available and there for all matters. The property and location are just beautiful, we fell in love immediately. Those who want peace and quiet and yet a great standard and want to enjoy nature will feel very comfortable here. We'll be back!

The goal was to relax in nature with friends. This was completely done in Saskia's hut. Located in a beautiful setting and easily accessible. Very authentically decorated and nice and primitive, but with plenty of facilities. Definitely recommended.

We stayed in the cottage for the second time, this time with six of us and felt very comfortable. Lots of hiking routes from the cottage. Cabin also accessible by public transport, but difficult because of shopping, etc. Until next time, thank you! :)

We were able to fully enjoy our stay and switch off wonderfully. The place was very romantic and designed with a lot of love for detail. Livia is an accommodating and helpful hostess – you feel welcome from the start. The breakfast was balanced, fresh and incredibly delicious. We will be happy to come back.

We spend the Easter weekend with our dog at Elias’s beautiful cabin and had one of the most memorable stays on our trip trough the Black Forest region. Elias gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home from the moment we entered their little world. The place is perfect to relax, lay in the garden, walks in the forest, sweating in the sauna or just a cosy dinner in the wooden cabin. As we are writing this review, we already miss the place, we hope to be back another time. With love BJ

Super nice reception by the hostess who happened to be there. The place has retained the charm of the old railway station post office. Everything you need is there. The small garden is fenced, which is great with a dog. Despite the train station, it is very quiet. You can hardly hear the few trains. The stairs up are really steep, but doable with the railing/light. Restaurants, bakery and shopping within walking distance. You can start hiking directly from the accommodation. Bus and train accordingly right around the corner, so you can get anywhere very quickly. We were very pleased :)

We enjoyed every bit of our stay at this lovely cabin. The cabin has everything you need and the surrounding is just amazing. There is plenty to do in the area. The Allerheiligen waterfall is worth a visit (the car ride to it is already amazing). If you are travelling with an (anxious) dog, this is the place to be. Our dog always struggles with unknown places and can’t settle down. But he absolutely enjoyed his time here! All the freedom to run around and so peaceful and quiet that he slept like a baby ;) And the host, Anja, is great with dogs. We will be back ☺️
