We loved the little space we had for ourselves Although it is busy with workers right behind our space which means no walking around naked 😅 but hot tub and grass patch was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway And it is still somewhat private and definitely feels peaceful Maybe an AC for hot summer days would be great We loved it and would recommend

Came here last year as I grew up in the hermitage and brought my Thai fiance and she just fell in love with the place. The animals, nature, mountains and friendly people. Love it here and came back longer this time and will be back every year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood and the premises are very well maintained. The house was very comfortable to stay in and we would definitely like to stay there again in future. Ps. The donkeys are very cute.

A fabulous farm stay at Marie's! Die Kliphuisie satisfied our need for a digital detox and some much needed RnR. Situated in between the Witzenberg and Slanghoek mountains, we couldn't help but be inspired by our surroundings. A great option for an accessible and low-key farm stay.

A wonderful, quiet and private stay tucked away at the base of the mountains and hidden between the vineyards. Loved every second of the stay.

A beautiful place. The overall house is well situated overlooking a green lawn and a big dam. The air was fresh and the place so peaceful and quiet. We would love to come back again! I recommend bringing your own floaty toys like kayak which would have been great for the kids. The dam is big and deep with easy access and lovely to swim in fresh water. The house offered everything, including blenders juicers and soda stream which would have been useful for a longer stay. The ceiling fans in all the rooms were efficient and essential. Our teens enjoyed their time there too with private spots as well as big open space and the Hot Tub Was a big hit!! Making it hot for everyone was a constant focus for our son. Thank you Kim & Geraldine for the basket of fresh veggies, wine & olive oil! You have been incredible and immediately sorted out minor issues as they arose. It is a farm so there are flies and bugs however there are necessary measures to keep them where they belong. A wonderful stay!

We stayed in the Kingfisher Cabin at Vrolikheid Landgoed in Tulbagh. Our host Ané was organized and kept us well-informed about everything we needed to know before arrival. Our cabin was super clean and comfortable and beautifully designed and decorated, to enjoy a peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay. We had everything we needed. When we arrived, there was already firewood in the braai and fireplace and hot tub, with a firelighter blitz already in place, making it very easy for us. Waking up for the beautiful sunrise with a coffee and sitting on the wooden deck, enjoying the views and trees, mountains and stunning landscape was unforgettable. Being summer, the weather at midday got quite warm, but we were so grateful for the cabin air-conditioning, which made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the night sky light up with shining stars! Something out of a storybook! The hot tub was wonderful. We had a very peaceful, relaxing and restful experience. Amazing!!!

This place is so good that I didn't want to write this review for someone to live right there. Just the best place to stay in the area.

Such a beautiful location. We loved the plunge pool in the gorgeous garden. What a view. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the mountains. Great location on the edge of Rustenberg Wine Estate, with its lovely gardens.

Our trip was made all the more special by our stay in Carol's beautiful home. It was full of wonderful art and artifacts and staying there was one of the highlights of our holiday. We all enjoyed the big, comfortable rooms, the lovely outside dining areas and appreciated all the amenities. The kids loved the sparkling pool and expansive, attractive garden. Carol was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel so welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend their spot and hope we can stay there again in the near future.

Hanna and her family are the perfect hosts. They are close enough to be there when you need something yet far enough to have the space feel very private. The house was very spacious and perfect for our month long stay. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and they couldn't get enough of the playground and resident bunnies, chickens, and ducks. Their 2 dogs are also a delight! The house has great communal indoor spaces that were used extensively when the weather was not ideal. On sunny days we loved the patio and garden. The perfect location to spend time with loved ones.

Diana was a wonderful host and the cabin was as lovely as described and also mentioned in the reviews of people staying there previously. It truly is a little slice of heaven, idyllic and tranquil, and a perfect starting point to experience the beautiful surrounding area. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. Everything you need is available and well thought out. We did have a power outage which was in the entire area for one of the days we were there. Other than that hiccup, we loved our stay. Host was very responsive. Wish we could’ve met them. Maybe next time.

Great place and a lovely host!

The house is very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The garden is secure with lovely lawns for the kids to play. Carin is very friendly and showed us around the farm. The setting is wonderfully peaceful and private. The kids loved all the animals!

Highly recommended for any group be it families with or without kids! We were a group of 4 adults and three kids (1,4,6) and had an amazing team in the house. I'd even say the pictures dont to justice to it, as the view which ranges from Capetown over the ocean and then to vinyards and the mountains is absolutely stunning. The pool was a nice refreshments and it nicely heats up throughout the day (water is heated via tubes on the roof). The kitchen has literally everything in terms of utensils etc. Bedrooms: 2/3 bedrooms can be darkened, one will always be bright in the morning. The Masterbedroom with large bathroom and walk-in dressing room/wardrobe was absolutely amazing Host: super flexible, Blaise even organised a baby chair and bed for the little one (didnt have one before but reacted quickly to our ask); Willie as the "on-site-host" is always super helpful and flexible. We had an aircon-issue one day and he instantly took care of it; always reachable on w-app/call
