Thank you for this stay in the Angoulême countryside. Our exchanges that allowed us to organize a perfect stay. I was even able to charge my electric car on the property. Our host was very accommodating. A big thank you and looking forward to Angoulême. 😉

Don't hesitate, stop and enjoy Christine is a great person, very welcoming, very friendly, very attentive, a TOP hostess Despite catastrophic weather, we felt very good in this beautiful house, comfortable, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, frankly like at home Very good quality bedding, everything available (bed linen, towels, coffee, cleaning products, even sauces in the fridge, etc.) Beautifully sized rooms, with a bathroom (jet shower) Need we say more? Oh yes, the large garden and the beautiful terrace, where, despite the weather, we were able to have an aperitif. Thanks again Christine, unforgettable Easter weekend and a human encounter that we will not forget @ soon

The setting is beautiful, the accommodation is fine, especially the kittens that were the best, thank you very 🤩 much.

We had a pleasant weekend in this beautiful and large house. this one is as described. i recommend it.

It went very well. Jacques was kind and welcomed us very warmly. He told us places to visit and gave us a very good homemade jam.

Accommodation as described, but furniture is a bit from another era, the accommodation is suitable for a family of 4 without problem, quiet.

Everything was perfect to the point that we extended our stay by one night! Thank you very much Cathy and Didier, thanks to you we had the pleasure of fully enjoying our stay! The fully fenced property made our four-legged companion very happy! We highly recommend Cathy and Didier!

Sophie (and Craig!) were wonderful hosts and made us feel at home straight away. Given how cold it was they made sure the log burner was lit and going before we arrived, and provided a lovely hamper for breakfast. The setting is idyllic and we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife around us. At this time of year there isn’t a massive amount of stuff going on, but can def see the appeal of the pool and the nearby lakes once the temperatures start to rise! Would happily revisit in the future 🙂

Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!

The house is very nice, very well-equipped. We had a lovely stay, very quiet. Nearby tours and hikes are available. Rebecca was always responsive to our questions.

A short stay at Marlene and her husband's, but it went very well, they were very nice and welcoming. The kids were in heaven with all these animals. Will definitely be back. Thank you and see you soon

Also, although we were not able to meet Dominique,we spoke by phone and message ,she was always very responsive,gave good advice and available when needed! In addition, the accommodation is set back from an axis,quiet and quiet guaranteed ,not to mention the pool +++

Thank you for a very relaxing stay. We found the gîte to be exactly as described, with all the amenities needed. The area is very pretty and we enjoyed exploring for the few days we were here. Peaceful and pretty area.

We booked the cottage for a weekend for our loved ones who really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting. They will happily come back and found a beautiful and quiet place for nature lovers. This is a lovely quiet property in a private rural area, but has conveniences a short drive away. I was in the area for a wedding and this place was ideal. Jeanine is very welcoming and friendly and her communication was very helpful.
