What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We were 7 adults and animals. First of all, I thank Agnès for accepting several animals, it's very rare. Everyone was delighted with this house, clean, well heated (December), the rooms were large, simple and relaxing decoration. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a small stock of pasta and coffee to help out if you have to stay several days and have to go shopping. Spacious living room. Only small downside: the toilet in the hallway does not lock and the toilet seat was moving, it was not very practical. If I had the opportunity to return to the area I would gladly rent this house again.

A beautiful apartment amongst the vineyards very close to St Emilion ( driving by car) Breakfast in the garden was lovely and Jeanne was such a lovely host ! Made us feel at home from the get go and her recommendations and advice was most welcome!

Great house, great location absolutely loved it, will be returning again

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we plan to come back as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and perfectly located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was thrilled. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the small touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us upon arrival. In short, go there without a second thought: it's really not an Airbnb like the others.

Great stay at Alexandrine and Gilles' cottage. Cozy, peaceful and warm cottage, ideally located in the heart of nature, close to 2 rivers, caves and other tourist sites in the region. Perfect communication and very warm welcome from Alexandrine :) Just so you know, there are no doors between the rooms. We highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Impeccable and very nice accommodation, perfect for a stay in the countryside

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

We had a great time in the heart of Dordogne. The place is beautiful, overlooking the surrounding woods, the place is quiet and peaceful, if you like tranquility this place is for you. Heated pool and outdoor facilities really very good, being sick as well as my mom, we enjoyed it! The accommodation is functional and very well-equipped, the owners and Jessyca were very responsive to our questions and are present for any concern, very understanding and kind, we thank them 😊

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Very nice accommodation with very neat and refined decor, very well equipped, with lots of charm, very comfortable; we stayed there around mid-February and it was quite cool on the ground floor despite the heating, which was not the case on the upper floors; the stove is welcome and very nice but it is not necessarily enough to heat, or not immediately; we therefore highly recommend it but you have to plan to cover yourself in winter even if the accommodation offers plaids for those who are sensitive to the cold; we also enjoyed Bridget's little hello on our arrival, the bottle of wine and the cake! Not much to say about this very nice place, go there without a second thought.

Nicole is a great host and very responsive even if it's late! The house is as advertised and perfect. The environment is quiet and shops are nearby. For a weekend with friends it was impeccable!

The experience was perfect. Virginia's place and her husband is a haven of peace, we wanted a weekend in the green, we couldn't have asked for better. The newly renovated home has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The mezzanine bedroom is very nice, and cool thanks to its stone walls. The perfect bedding. The exterior is beautifully maintained by Virginia and her husband, both landscapers. The terrain is huge, which was the delight of our puppy who was able to run everywhere. No noise nearby is perfect for disconnecting and doing nothing. We really enjoyed the nearby villages / areas full of charms. A big thank you for the welcome, breakfast and everything else!

We were able to spend a family weekend in a mill that met our expectations despite exceptionally rainy weather for the season. The comfort and generous interior space were able to replace the lack of sun. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. Only the kitchen seems a little tight for about fifteen people, especially in bad weather, but the presence of the 2 large refrigerators was appreciated. It was a beautiful time . Monique G

This apartment was wonderful! The location was perfect, we had no issues finding parking and the beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful balcony. I will note that the WiFi was the best we have had since being in France for 3 weeks.
