Travis’ place was perfect for our family’s three nights stay on the Island. He had the single mattress and the pack and play set up for my kids before we arrived. The set up is perfect for a multi generation family trip. We got to really enjoy the amenities such as the pool and the pickle ball court. Would definitely consider renting again here!

Iain’s Bird’s Nest Cabin is the perfect spot for a Cortes vacation! Centrally located, it’s a quick drive or walk to Hollyhock, Smelt Bay, Manson’s Lagoon, and the Co-op, making it easy to explore the island. Tucked away in the forest, the cabin is well-stocked with plenty of towels, bedding, A/C, wifi, and a well-appointed kitchen (note: no oven, but a great gas range). Iain and his family live on the property and are quick to help when needed, but you wouldn’t know they’re there—perfect hosts! This was our second stay at one of Iain’s properties, and we can’t wait to come back again. Thanks for another lovely vacation, Iain!

Enjoyed our stay at this duplex. It was very comfortable, quiet and everything seemed to be in good working order. Kitchen was well equipped for us. They had a cute back yard. It was perfect for us as it was close to our friend’s place. A few blocks away is a nice nature walk along the river.

Jennifer's house was perfect for us! The house is really cozy, beautiful outdoor spaces, quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of the mountains from the back deck. We especially appreciated that the kitchen was replete with good cookware! Jennifer was was very responsive and communicated really well. I'd highly recommend her home to anybody considering a visit to this lovely part of the island

We had a great stay. Loved the wood stove and the hot tub situated in a mossy forest. Zoran was very helpful with getting to gambier and provided great suggestions of places to see with the golf cart. Was very responsive if had questions. Beautiful island and loved sitting on the dock admiring the view and the seals.

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

We loved our stay at Andrea’s place. It was extremely clean. The space had everything we needed even down to a bin of spare chargers! It was also very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. It even had good coffee!!! The toys, books and board games were such a lovely touch and were so helpful for us entertaining our kids. I find traveling with children they aren’t always as welcomed but we certainly didn’t feel that during our stay here. We had the opportunity to request a high chair and pack and play (with a crib mattress). It was an easy walk to the beach and we very much enjoyed our time exploring what Parksville had to offer. It was April when we visited but the close proximity to the pool in the summer months would also be a hit. Andrea was very accommodating and we can’t wait to come back. I’d give her more stars if I could!

Beautiful new apartment. Underground parking. Quiet. I would recommend it and stay there again.
