Cottage vacation rentals in Boussenac

Phillips and Nelly are Lovely people, showed us around the house explaining everything . The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed. We used the house for a base to ski different resorts everyday. Kids loved the games on offer, especially the pool table, table tennis and French bouls. Deer in the fields every morning surrounding the house, and to be awoken by the birds singing was a joy. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay for a quiet romantic getaway, the house was so cozy and the spa was lovely! The place looks WAY better in real life than in the photos! Beautiful historical property in a stunning little village. Some incredible views of the mountains as well. Pet friendly and Caty and her husband are amazing hosts :)

We had a great time at the Tanagra cottage. Chloé and her family are very welcoming, available while remaining very discreet. The house is full of charm and well-equipped, the pool in the middle of this panorama was very appreciated by young and old! Lots of things to do and see in the area, great for a family vacation!

Lovely place, quiet and out of time. A pleasant experience

We loved this beautiful house perched above a small Pyrenean valley and its beautiful river! We were 8 and had all the space it takes to relax, cook and have fun together (info to note anyway: the 5th bedroom is not one, but a mezzanine above the living room and kitchen, so not always quiet, and its layout is not of the same very good quality as the other bedrooms). Our host was very available and friendly. We had very nice walks around the village, the valley is really wonderful. Basically, a great place!!

Locatire d 'Au cairn 3 + Aucairn 5, we thank the host for his warm welcome, his good advice, and his availability! Very good stay near the plateau of Beille, which is easily accessible. The 2 cottages rented met our expectations (group of 8 adults and 4 children), the very spacious living room of gite 5 allowed us to be able to meet, while having space! Thanks again to the host. Very good stay, I would recommend it!

It's been a great experience from start to finish. Communication with François was excellent from the moment, responding clearly and quickly to messages. Once in the house, François has been a 200% friendly host, respectful of our privacy but always available, he gave us everything we needed and was especially lovely bringing games for the child. The house is great, charming, clean, spacious and well equipped. It's much better than in the pictures. It is secluded in the middle of an impressive estate, but 15 min from a very beautiful village with everything needed to meet the needs of the day to day. The location is perfect for a quiet vacation in nature and from where you can do many interesting hikes. Our dog also enjoyed it very much and we were very happy . Thank you François!

A beautiful home set in even more beautiful surroundings. It was everything we hoped for and more. We hardly saw or heard another soul so if you’re looking for peace and solitude, this is the place. It’s a very steep set of stairs to the bedrooms but that didn’t bother us although you need to be careful. Not suitable for the mobility impaired or frail. We loved it.

We had a very pleasant weekend thanks to the environment and the beautiful walks starting from the cottage. The accommodation is comfortable: very good bedding and Martine provided us with wood for beautiful fires in the evening. Communication was easy and the instructions very clear We were delighted with our stay.

We had a most wonderful two-week stay at this unique house full of charm and soul. The house is beautiful and spacious, the kitchen is super lovely and well-equipped to gather for memorable family meals, children have so much to discover with the playroom and the garden, and the surroundings are very special with many gorgeous walking trails nearby and with ski slopes just a short drive away. Pat and her husband were great hosts, they were always responsive and we especially appreciated that they accommodated our family’s needs and responded right away to quickly resolve any questions or issues we had (which is not easy considering the house is not in a big city and solutions might not always be quick). Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Really nice place to stay - lovely sunny living space, well located for driving to ski resorts, local towns and attractions.

We loved staying at Carmen´s cottage. It was warm, well decorated, cozy and it had everything we needed for a cold snowy ski weekend. Carmen was great communicating and she was very responsive and helpful all the way. We will surely go back and totally recommend. Just note that if it snows you would not want to park in from of the house and be aware of bringing chains as small roads take longer to be clean.

Such a wonderful place! Great hosting and beautiful surroundings. We stayed a week and were completely content. So many good hikes and places to explore. I recommend Mountsegur and Niaux cave as well as all the randonnées that are nearby. We would love to return!

Very nice house, the ground floor stays cool during periods of heat, and the Ariège nights take care of refreshing the rooms at night. The village is quiet and good location. We had a pleasant stay. We recommend.

We had a perfect 4 days in this little house in the middle of the Pyrenees. The house is beautiful, very well equipped and with all amenities. Heating was on when we arrived. The relationship with the owners was very good. We will definitely repeat in this house.

This was a perfect location to holiday with family - 3 couples. It was spacious and we all appreciated the en-suite bathrooms to each bedroom. The pool was a great size and, although it is shared with the owner and another gite, we often enjoyed the pool to ourselves. Beate was extremely accommodating about our checkout time and we really appreciated that.

Our stay at the house was excellent! The house is very cozy and has all the necessary equipment. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, ideal for large groups, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped to prepare meals without difficulty. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting, and the layout of the house has allowed us to enjoy great comfort and privacy, despite being 14 people. There were two small inconveniences: the hot water runs out relatively quickly when there are showers in a row, although I suppose it's understandable to be so many. Second, we had a misunderstanding with the fireplace issue - we thought it was available to use but eventually it wasn't. This was a communication issue, not a deficiency of the house. Highlight also the friendliness of the Criseida, which at all times has been available to resolve our concerns. In short, our experience was very positive. Recommended!

We had a pleasant stay at Sue and Ian's place. We were looking for a quiet place in the middle of nature, we were seduced by the place two years ago, and again, we were not disappointed. We highly recommend this listing.

Very comfortable chalet. South facing terrace with a view . Very nice. Large very well equipped kitchen. Large living room . Perfect for a large family. The nearby church rings every hour , even at night . This church is very beautiful . A pleasant stay with the family .
