Unusual eco-lodge: 2 people

2 km from Foix, in Ariège, the eco-lodge is the latest addition to the Ruffié lodgings. At the bottom of the park, 60 m from the main building, it offers an experience in the heart of nature and combines the conviviality of a yurt and a chalet. With an area of 25 m2, it is composed of 1 room with its kitchen, 1 small bedroom (140 bed) and 1 bathroom. Wi-Fi is free. Remote working possible. Pool 07 and 08 In summer, the cottage is rented by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. 2 nights minimum the rest of the year.

Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

Relaxation guaranteed in this cosy and spacious accommodation located at an altitude of 900 m with a breathtaking view of the Valier mountain. The green setting will seduce you... The accommodation is fully equipped and has a private terrace. It is attached to our house but the entrance is independent. On site, there is a Nordic bath and a sauna which can be booked on the day of arrival or in advance of course but it is an additional service not included in the rental price.

'Cosy', warm and rustic, renovated with eco-friendly materials, it is 150 meters from the parking lot at the end of a small winding and steep path. This quiet place will allow you to return to nature and simplicity. Outdoor dry toilet. Possibility of access to an outdoor bathroom in the middle of nature if hot water is available. Le Playras: charming barn, panoramic view

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!

Le Prat de Lacout - Charming gîte 10 minutes from Foix

It is by a small road that climbs through forest groves that you access this "magical" place where the view of the Ariège Pyrenees is breathtaking! This old sheepfold located at an altitude of 750 m is surrounded by meadows and valleys. The exposed stone on the outside affirms the traditional character of the place. Inside, the presence of wood, combined with contemporary decor, provides a feeling of home.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to contact me before making or confirming a reservation. Regarding access, the house is at the end of a 7 km track. The first 5 km are suitable for vehicles, and the last 2 km are not suitable for vehicles. So you'll have to walk the last 2 km, about 40 minutes. Guests can park their car safely in a clearing.
