Monthly Rentals in Borgue

Courtyard Cottage was a brilliant base to explore the local area. It was warm, peaceful and extremely comfortable. The bed was particularly comfy and had nice quality bedding. The kitchen was well equipped. The dogs were made welcome and were safe within the enclosed courtyard. We loved the bath and there was lovely hot water when we got back from long walks and explorations. We only ate lunch out once in Kirkcudbright at a café called Feast, very friendly and welcomed our two smll dogs. We preferred to hunker down in the evenings and eat in.

This was the cleanest and most gorgeous place we’ve ever stayed at. It is beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need and more. The surrounding woodland was exactly what I was hoping for and there was so much of it. There are also beaches at a 2-hr walk or 15-min drive through the countryside that are very worth it. The neighbors are very sweet and were helpful when we got lost, and overall a really quiet, serene stay! Restaurants in town are amazing and have a lot of variety in their dishes, and offer good options to suit allergies and dietairy needs. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

This house is simply beautiful. It was spacious and comfortable with all that we needed and more, we loved the veranda with it's fabulous views, the decking and barbecue area was private and comfortable and the hot tub was clean with good spec. Great friendly and personable host. It is set in a lovely friendly village with good dog walking and we have to give a big shout out for the Borgue Hotel, very friendly serving good home cooked food at a fair price and with a smile. We will definitely be back.

Fab place to stay in Kirkcudbright. Right in the town so everything is easily walkable and it’s a lovely sun trap outside the cottage where I sat catching the afternoon sun and reading my book . It’s down a small close which adds to its private and exclusive feel. This place is like the photos and maybe better , decorated to a very high standard with everything you need . It’s top of my list to book next down I’m down this way !
