Cottage vacation rentals in Bordeaux

We had a nice stay at the Bergerie, everything is as shown in the photos. The bedding is great, the jaccuzzi too! The capricious weather did not allow us to fully enjoy the terraces yet very pleasant. Perfect for being quiet, nevertheless need to take the car to enjoy the surrounding sites. Very nice renovation!

Our stay went very well in this pretty well-equipped house. The hosts are very accommodating and flexible. In summer, with the hot tub, pool, summer kitchen and large terrace it must be superb! The only small hitch if there is to be one is the location with a listing that is not easy to find, largely because of Waze who sends us on a path quite far behind the house. The car is necessary for this accommodation. Thank you for this pleasant stay with friends:)

Perfect stay! Accommodation located in a small quiet village but nevertheless lively in summer and with all the necessary amenities (bakery, pharmacy, Intermarché nearby). Ideal location for ocean lovers and bike rides, halfway between Bordeaux and the Bassin d 'Arcachon. Laure is a very friendly and responsive host. An extra emphasis on cleanliness would be a plus (closet handles and some utensils were dirty upon arrival). Otherwise, everything was great 👍

Cindy was a friendly host and keen to help from the start. The property is in a peaceful location, near the beach and a good base to explore the Arcachon Bay area. Inside is unfussy, comfortable and well equipped for a longer stay. The kitchen, dining and lounge is one space. For 2 people it worked well, though I’m not sure how it would work for groups using the sofa bed as the bathroom and WC is also off this main area. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of space to hang and store clothes. The garden is a nice place to relax and enjoy the sun with plenty of seating options. We didn’t use the hot tub during our stay, but if you like a hot tub, then it’s quite private. We stayed with our small dog and we felt he was safe and secure within the garden throughout our stay. There are many excellent restaurants and bars in the area and a number of them are within very easy walking distance. We would recommend a visit to the oyster cabanes at Andernos-les-Bains.

The host is super friendly, and very quick in responding. She described everything in perfect detail, so we were able to find the place easily (even though we arrived in the dark). Everything at the house was ready and clean, and we enjoyed our quiet time here even though it was for just two days. The place is close to the lake and the walk in the woods is very beautiful. Carole also gave useful tips about where to walk! Overall we really enjoyed our stay & especially how easy it was for us to get there. We traveled with two dogs and two kids, there were lots of fun toys and games for the children and the nature and little beach were perfect for the dogs. Thanks again, Carole!

Bénédicte is an outstanding host. The cottage is charming, spacious and Bénédicte was full of lovely touches. We had a lovely time and will be back with pleasure.

We had a great stay at Lignan de Bordeaux which ended all too quickly. Frank & Maxine were extremely helpful and informative about the area. Their property is spacious and is set in a wonderful, peaceful location. It is packed with rustic charm. A swimming pool in the garden is an added bonus. One word of advice is that having your own transport is a must to get about the area. No hesitation in recommending and our party would definitely return.

We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful home, nicely decorated with direct views of the Dordogne. The place is quiet and peaceful and the ideal location for visiting the surrounding towns and vineyards. Highly recommended for all nature lovers and good wine lovers. In addition, the exchanges with Pimprenelle were responsive and cordial. We would love to go back!

Quiet house for a weekend with friends with baby and dog. Françoise was very welcoming and flexible whether for check-in or checkout time from the accommodation Despite the fact that the house is a few years old, it was impeccably clean. We had a lovely stay

Great weekend at Fanny and Nicolas's. The house is great and so peaceful that we would like to stay there for a few weeks to recharge our batteries. Lots of activities available, a huge property with beautiful animals around. In short, just perfect. Otherwise the hosts are super responsive, the house is clean and very functional. No complaints, we'll be back.

7 of my extended family and I stayed at Christel and Marie’s house. We had an amazing stay, using the house as a base to visit the area but also to relax by their wonderful pool. The house is large and spacious and suitable for all ages. The description is very accurate and the house itself as everything you need, a home away from home. We also used their bbq and ping pong table! We were able to visit Bordeaux, Cap Ferret and Lacanau with ease. The area is very quiet with no traffic and a local supermarket only 5 mins away. With 3 families, we had 2 cars that fitted fine on their property. The communication was excellent and they answered all our queries quickly and we met Marie in person, who was very friendly! We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. We would love to come again!

Hello The cottage of the provided has lots of charm and completely as described. Very well located in the middle of the wines of Graves and the Cerons appellation that I had come to look for. The welcome was perfect and the hosts were even particularly understanding. Thank you so much.

perfect cottage to spend a few days with the family , we spent a weekend there with our son and were very satisfied . Everything necessary is present in the property . The comfort is very good and the location was well located . A few minutes from the Pilat Dune , the sea , Arcachon or the local zoo and a bunch of activities . It was a great opportunity to discover the area . Thanks to the hosts who were very responsive .

Xavier and Stephanie's house was an excellent house for a family holiday which we just had with our 8 and 9 year olds. It is located down a beautiful quiet road outside Libourne on the banks of the Dordogbe. We used car/bicycle to get very easy access to shops and restaurants. We could cycle to the boulangerie and market in Libourne in the mornings to get fresh food and it was also a very scenic cycle to Saint-Émilion which is just 25 to 30 mins on bike or 10mins by car. The house is really spacious with a big area for the kids to play outside or for anyone to relax or eat on the outdoor seats and furniture. It is really private and peaceful with the lots of birdsong and beautiful sunsets in the evening. Xavier and Stephanie thought of everything in the house. The sheets and towels and kitchen crockery and utensils were of excellent quality. This was one of the best holidays we ever had and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you for everything!

Carolyn’s gîte was absolutely perfect! It is beautiful and the ideal location for a peaceful stay while still being close to Saint Émilion and other beautiful towns as well as only 50 minutes from Bordeaux. Carolyn is a wonderful host who was there to greet us and made us feel so welcome. She offered us lots of recommendations and we felt like we were friends immediately. The gîte is immaculate, beautifully decorated, with everything you need during your stay. It is spacious and suited our three generation family holiday which was incredibly important to us. I can’t thank Carolyn enough for hosting us and would highly recommend her gîte for anyone looking to stay near Saint Émilion for any length of time. Thank you for making our stay so special.
