Cottage vacation rentals in Bordeaux

We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We had a nice stay at the Bergerie, everything is as shown in the photos. The bedding is great, the jaccuzzi too! The capricious weather did not allow us to fully enjoy the terraces yet very pleasant. Perfect for being quiet, nevertheless need to take the car to enjoy the surrounding sites. Very nice renovation!

We had chosen Aude's apartment for its proximity to the highway, without any noise inconvenience, the environment is very quiet. We arrived later than expected, around 10pm but were hosted very well! The listing matched the photos, easy to find, and Aude was very responsive. The umbrella bed had already been mounted. In short, a quick and relaxing stopover on the holiday route! Thank you again

We had a great time in your home, 4 couples and 1 single person, plenty of room for everyone, the 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets are highly appreciated. Air conditioning for each room for everyone's comfort. A perfectly maintained exterior, the pool was highly appreciated and the grills around the sheltered barbecue were a wonderful idea to get through the rain. We would highly recommend your rental. We would also like to thank your friend who welcomed us very pleasantly on Friday with a smile.

Impeccable house, a real peaceful corner, with a very nice garden, jacuzzi pool and all outdoor amenities. We met as a family and organized my daughter's baptism and the meal on the beautiful terrace, everyone was delighted with the environment and the house. Impeccable cleanliness, responsive host, we were even able to check in a little early, the hosts were very accommodating. I recommend it for great family or friends reunions! Only one small downside, it lacked some basic items, such as coffee, sugar, for example. We had to go buy coffee and sugar in a hurry in the evening for our breakfast the next day.

Perfect stay! Accommodation located in a small quiet village but nevertheless lively in summer and with all the necessary amenities (bakery, pharmacy, Intermarché nearby). Ideal location for ocean lovers and bike rides, halfway between Bordeaux and the Bassin d 'Arcachon. Laure is a very friendly and responsive host. An extra emphasis on cleanliness would be a plus (closet handles and some utensils were dirty upon arrival). Otherwise, everything was great 👍

Janine's property suited us perfectly. Walks from the property, supermarket (very good) nearby, award-winning pastry chef not too far away..... Bourg is a beautiful and interesting place and some of the Côte de Bourg wines are exceptional. Well located for Blaye - the citadel, the cliff, the ferry to cross the Gironde. The house is warm and cozy, but the electricity needs a little update, which we think will happen in the near future. The garden was perfect for dogs and there are great views from the patio which, in hot weather, would probably have been contemplated at leisure! Janine is friendly and responds quickly. We rarely go back to the properties but this could be an exception! A big thank you Janine and - maybe - see you soon.

The stay with the family was great, at the beginning there was a misunderstanding through airnbn listings, the entire place was offered, when we arrived we found out that it was a room in a family house. Great , Marie and family are great to recommend, we will be happy to come back

Beautiful place - fantastic host!

We had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful house on the banks of the Dordogne. The location is ideal, the environment quiet and peaceful, in close proximity to Saint Emilion, Libourne, and many castles and vineyards. The house is superb, very comfortable, perfectly equipped, and faithful to the listing in every way. Pimprenelle and her family took great care of us, and gave us great tips for visits or good restaurants that we enjoyed. We recommend 100%!

We were reunited as a family for an unfortunately very rainy Easter weekend. But the place is spacious, the rooms are large and everything went well. Very satisfied with the cottage that we already knew, under a beautiful sun and we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden, well-equipped.

7 of my extended family and I stayed at Christel and Marie’s house. We had an amazing stay, using the house as a base to visit the area but also to relax by their wonderful pool. The house is large and spacious and suitable for all ages. The description is very accurate and the house itself as everything you need, a home away from home. We also used their bbq and ping pong table! We were able to visit Bordeaux, Cap Ferret and Lacanau with ease. The area is very quiet with no traffic and a local supermarket only 5 mins away. With 3 families, we had 2 cars that fitted fine on their property. The communication was excellent and they answered all our queries quickly and we met Marie in person, who was very friendly! We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. We would love to come again!

Mathilde's place is as described. It's a peaceful place with an ideal exterior for relaxing. Many toys available for children. We can admire the vines while lying on the hammock. Communication with Mathilde is excellent. We would recommend her listing.

Excellent stay. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. The bedding is very good quality and the kitchen has everything you need. The decoration of the cottage is neat and pretty and contributes to the charm of this beautiful old house. Bénédicte and Jean-Roland are friendly and available hosts. We had homemade cupcakes and a bouquet of flowers waiting for us upon arrival. We were also able to recharge the electric bike during the stay and store the bikes safely. A place to remember.

Xavier and Stephanie's house was an excellent house for a family holiday which we just had with our 8 and 9 year olds. It is located down a beautiful quiet road outside Libourne on the banks of the Dordogbe. We used car/bicycle to get very easy access to shops and restaurants. We could cycle to the boulangerie and market in Libourne in the mornings to get fresh food and it was also a very scenic cycle to Saint-Émilion which is just 25 to 30 mins on bike or 10mins by car. The house is really spacious with a big area for the kids to play outside or for anyone to relax or eat on the outdoor seats and furniture. It is really private and peaceful with the lots of birdsong and beautiful sunsets in the evening. Xavier and Stephanie thought of everything in the house. The sheets and towels and kitchen crockery and utensils were of excellent quality. This was one of the best holidays we ever had and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you for everything!

We had a great weekend at Sabine's property, who welcomed the first arrivals in a very friendly way, even offering us delicate gourmet touches for our arrival! The house is huge. The green space is also very well maintained. All in a very peaceful hamlet. The bedding is excellent, spread out in 5 beautiful bedrooms arranged in a row upstairs. Ideal place for a quiet retreat for several days. Having breakfast in front of the house, facing the park and the sun was an incomparable family moment. Shops are 3 or 4 minutes away by car if needed. In short, even though we were not able to fully enjoy the house, because we were staying in the area to participate in a family event, we will not forget this excellent address and Sabine's kindness. To be booked without a second thought! Jp

Carolyn’s gîte was absolutely perfect! It is beautiful and the ideal location for a peaceful stay while still being close to Saint Émilion and other beautiful towns as well as only 50 minutes from Bordeaux. Carolyn is a wonderful host who was there to greet us and made us feel so welcome. She offered us lots of recommendations and we felt like we were friends immediately. The gîte is immaculate, beautifully decorated, with everything you need during your stay. It is spacious and suited our three generation family holiday which was incredibly important to us. I can’t thank Carolyn enough for hosting us and would highly recommend her gîte for anyone looking to stay near Saint Émilion for any length of time. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Amazing place. Marta and Iain were brilliant, very communicative and very helpful and friendly, recommending local restaurants and gave us some very useful advice about the best times to go to local tourist areas to avoid the crowds. House was spotless, beds were comfortable and the gardens were gorgeous. It is out in the middle of the countryside (approx 40 minutes from Bordeaux) but there is a large supermarket 10 minutes away and within 15/20 minutes you can be in Libourne or St Emillion so you will need a car, but in exchange you get peace, quiet, and great views. After a few days in the busy city it was a very nice and peaceful retreat to relax and recharge. It felt like a home. We definitely want to come back again.
