Cottage vacation rentals in Bordeaux

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans la Bergerie, tout est conforme aux photos. La literie est top, le jaccuzzi aussi! La météo capricieuse ne nous a pas permis de profiter à fond des terrasses pourtant très agréables. Parfait pour être au calme, néanmoins nécessité de prendre la voiture pour profiter des sites environnants. Très belle rénovation!

Notre séjour c'est très bien passé dans cette jolie maison bien équipée. Les hôtes sont très arrangeants et flexibles. En été, avec le jacuzzi, la piscine, la cuisine d'été et la grande terrasse cela doit être superbe ! Le seule petit hic s'il doit y en avoir un est la localisation avec un logement qui n'est pas simple à trouver, en grande partie à cause de Waze qui nous envoie dans un chemin assez loin derrière la maison. La voiture est nécessaire pour ce logement. Merci pour cet agréable séjour entre amis :)

Un mobil-home très bien entretenu, spacieux, et bien agencé dans un endroit calme. Les instructions fournies sont claires et précises, tout est réuni pour passer un agréable séjour. Merci à vous, au plaisir.

Séjour parfait! Logement situé dans un petit village au calme mais néanmoins animé en été et avec toutes les commodités nécessaires(boulangerie, pharmacie, Intermarché tout proche). Emplacement idéal pour les amoureux de l’océan et des ballades en vélos, à mi chemin entre Bordeaux et le Bassin d’Arcachon. Laure est une hôte très avenante et réactive. Un accent supplémentaire sur la propreté serait un plus (les poignées de placards et certains ustensiles étaient sales à notre arrivée). Sinon, tout était top 👍

Cindy was a friendly host and keen to help from the start. The property is in a peaceful location, near the beach and a good base to explore the Arcachon Bay area. Inside is unfussy, comfortable and well equipped for a longer stay. The kitchen, dining and lounge is one space. For 2 people it worked well, though I’m not sure how it would work for groups using the sofa bed as the bathroom and WC is also off this main area. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of space to hang and store clothes. The garden is a nice place to relax and enjoy the sun with plenty of seating options. We didn’t use the hot tub during our stay, but if you like a hot tub, then it’s quite private. We stayed with our small dog and we felt he was safe and secure within the garden throughout our stay. There are many excellent restaurants and bars in the area and a number of them are within very easy walking distance. We would recommend a visit to the oyster cabanes at Andernos-les-Bains.

The host is super friendly, and very quick in responding. She described everything in perfect detail, so we were able to find the place easily (even though we arrived in the dark). Everything at the house was ready and clean, and we enjoyed our quiet time here even though it was for just two days. The place is close to the lake and the walk in the woods is very beautiful. Carole also gave useful tips about where to walk! Overall we really enjoyed our stay & especially how easy it was for us to get there. We traveled with two dogs and two kids, there were lots of fun toys and games for the children and the nature and little beach were perfect for the dogs. Thanks again, Carole!

Bénédicte est une hôtesse hors pair. Le gîte est charmant, spacieux et Bénédicte a été pleine d’adorables attentions. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We had a great stay at Lignan de Bordeaux which ended all too quickly. Frank & Maxine were extremely helpful and informative about the area. Their property is spacious and is set in a wonderful, peaceful location. It is packed with rustic charm. A swimming pool in the garden is an added bonus. One word of advice is that having your own transport is a must to get about the area. No hesitation in recommending and our party would definitely return.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette belle demeure, joliment décorée avec vue directe sur la Dordogne. L’endroit est calme et paisible et l’emplacement idéal pour visiter les villes et les vignobles environnants. À recommander vivement à tous les amoureux de la nature et aux amateurs de bons vins. De plus, les échanges avec Pimprenelle ont été réactifs et cordiaux. Nous aimerions bien y retourner !

Super week-end chez Fanny et Nicolas. La maison est géniale et si paisible qu’on aimerait y rester quelques semaines histoire de se ressourcer. Plein d’activités disponibles, un immense terrain avec de beaux animaux autour. Bref juste parfait. Sinon les hôtes sont super réactifs, la maison est propre et très fonctionnelle. Rien à dire nous y retournerons

7 of my extended family and I stayed at Christel and Marie’s house. We had an amazing stay, using the house as a base to visit the area but also to relax by their wonderful pool. The house is large and spacious and suitable for all ages. The description is very accurate and the house itself as everything you need, a home away from home. We also used their bbq and ping pong table! We were able to visit Bordeaux, Cap Ferret and Lacanau with ease. The area is very quiet with no traffic and a local supermarket only 5 mins away. With 3 families, we had 2 cars that fitted fine on their property. The communication was excellent and they answered all our queries quickly and we met Marie in person, who was very friendly! We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. We would love to come again!

Cette grande maison accueille très facilement des week-ends entre amis et en famille ! We had a lovely stay, travelling through only stayed one night. great little spot, super peaceful, the house was great, could not ask for more.

Bonjour Le gîte de la fourniere a beaucoup de charme et correspond complètement à la description. Très bien situé en plein milieux des vins de Graves et de l’appellation Cerons que j’étais venu chercher. L’accueil était parfait et les hôtes ont même été particulièrement compréhensifs. Merci beaucoup.

chalet parfait pour passer quelques jours en famille , nous y avons passé un week-end avec notre fils et avons été très satisfait . Tout le nécessaire est présent dans le logement . Le confort est très correct et l'emplacement était bien situé . À quelques minutes de la dune du Pilat , de la mer , d'Arcachon ou du zoo local et d'un tas d'activités . Ce fut une belle occasion de découvrir la région . Merci aux hôtes qui se sont montrés très réactifs .

nos encantó ..si había el tiempo más soleado perfecto.,pero esto está en mano de Dios...hemos estado más en el campo de fútbol que en casa pero todo que hemos necesitado estaba ahí.la comunicación perfecta ,rápida .amable .. si volvemos ahí estaremos otra vez.gracias

Xavier and Stephanie's house was an excellent house for a family holiday which we just had with our 8 and 9 year olds. It is located down a beautiful quiet road outside Libourne on the banks of the Dordogbe. We used car/bicycle to get very easy access to shops and restaurants. We could cycle to the boulangerie and market in Libourne in the mornings to get fresh food and it was also a very scenic cycle to Saint-Émilion which is just 25 to 30 mins on bike or 10mins by car. The house is really spacious with a big area for the kids to play outside or for anyone to relax or eat on the outdoor seats and furniture. It is really private and peaceful with the lots of birdsong and beautiful sunsets in the evening. Xavier and Stephanie thought of everything in the house. The sheets and towels and kitchen crockery and utensils were of excellent quality. This was one of the best holidays we ever had and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you for everything!

Carolyn’s gîte was absolutely perfect! It is beautiful and the ideal location for a peaceful stay while still being close to Saint Émilion and other beautiful towns as well as only 50 minutes from Bordeaux. Carolyn is a wonderful host who was there to greet us and made us feel so welcome. She offered us lots of recommendations and we felt like we were friends immediately. The gîte is immaculate, beautifully decorated, with everything you need during your stay. It is spacious and suited our three generation family holiday which was incredibly important to us. I can’t thank Carolyn enough for hosting us and would highly recommend her gîte for anyone looking to stay near Saint Émilion for any length of time. Thank you for making our stay so special.
