Our stay at Island Gems was great. The unit was very clean and exactly as described. Check-in and check-out was very easy and had constant communication with hosts. Location was within a few minutes of all of Galveston's offerings. Would definitely recommend and will consider staying here again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing. Walking distance to almost any where. Very close to the beach. Love having the outdoor shower to rinse. They house was amazing. Very modern and clean. The Hosts checked in on us daily to ensure our stay was going well. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and being able to hang out in the garage. The beds were absolutely comfortable. We will defiantly be looking for availability for our next stay.

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

We enjoyed our stay at Michael’s place. The house was beautiful and absolutely perfect. The host was responsive if we needed anything at all. House was perfectly situated walking distance to beach for our family. We will definitely book here again!

Tams home was perfect for my family of 8. We went to celebrate my daughter’s 16th and they gave us lots of local recommendations. The home was PERFECT! I love me a clean home and it was well taken care of. It was easy to get in, Tam checked on us to ensure we’re all good. I loved the backyard, great for family nights. The house is located in a peaceful area, which helped bc I have a son with a traumatic brain injury and he gets overstimulation easily. He was able to rest up after a busy day at the beach. We loved “tu casa” felt like home and cannot wait to return again. Thank you Tam for being an incredible host!

We are very last minute and don’t like to plan anything. We decided to take a weekend trip with the grandkids and booked our stay the day we got there. Host responded quickly and the home was very nice and clean. There was plenty of room for us all and so close to the beach! We really enjoyed our stay, Thank you 😊

Communication with Alejandro was easy and fast. He’s a great host. The home was extremely comfortable and bright. My family and I had a wonderful time.

Nice place. close to Sunny Beach. Quiet. , relaxing, nice kitchen friendly neighbors and folks all around Galveston . Nice to have a grill for our fish we got at the seafood wholesaler! Close to restaurants, shopping and downtown Galveston Jesus responded personally to lights burned out ( his handyman was on vacation) and changes them and always responsive to texts and communication- very friendly helpful in local recommendations!

Our stay at this beautiful property was quite enjoyable. The communication with the staff was excellent, and the property matched our expectations perfectly. We found several wonderful restaurants within a short 10-minute drive, including Nate’s West End and Watermans. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would rate it highly.

Rod and Patty’s place was the perfect spot to view the sunrise in the morning and close to everything. They were very responsive and were the perfect hosts. Loved all the windows that had views of the ocean and we will definitely be coming back here for our next trip to the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 26th year anniversary staying in this clean, quiet and comfortable Condo. The View from the Balcony was phenomenal and having private access to the beach was a great plus. Mark and Mayvic were wonderful Host and were very communicative. As well the Front Desk at the Islander East was amazing and super helpful! We so enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!

Directions to check in were confusing. Check in was 3:00 later changed to 5:00pm. Generic directions about amenity’s that did not apply to our rental maid it confusing to say the least. Condo rental office was not aware of us renting the unit add kept asking if we were guests of the owner. Before allowing us to obtain the fobs to gain entry. The unit was nice and the location was great. We had a great time just wish to see improvement in check in directions. For future guests.
