Schwalbennest Ravensburg (Swallows Nest Ravensburg)

Our vacation home is located on the uppermost edge of the slope above the Schussental with views over the cityscape of Ravensburg and the vineyard. It is the “swallow's nest” – a small spot on the city map of Ravensburg that tells a special story.   We have preserved the former "laundry house" in which diapers were once washed for the children's home that was located there at the time, and have lovingly restored it to its former glory. The special flair of this cottage has been maintained.

Farmhouse room with lovely charm

In our restored farmhouse we rent a cozy, wheelchair-accessible attic apartment with elevator, spread over 2 floors. The upper bedroom can be reached via a wooden staircase (not wheelchair accessible). My accommodation is in the middle of the village in the countryside, but very close to the nearest cities of Frauenfeld and Winterthur. The bus stop is 100m from the Airbnb. It's ideal for couples, adventurers traveling alone, business trips and families (with children).

The sunny garden is fully fenced & is therefore also suitable for families with small children. The vacation home is in a quiet location. On the ground floor there are spacious lounges with a terrace facing east. Please note that the house can only be used vegetarian. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms, whereby one bedroom is a passageway for the bedroom behind it. The wooden house is cozily furnished with wooden furniture and has everything you need for a nice stay. Games available for all ages.

Our house is idyllically located directly on the lake with a fantastic view of Switzerland on the Säntis and the Zeppelin city of "Friedrichshafen." For 8 years we have been successful and happy hosts, were allowed to welcome a lot of great people to us, who would also like to book our whole house. That's why we decided to make our whole house available to nice guests from Easter 22.

On the terrace and from inside the house you can wonderfully observe the landscape, the atmosphere on the shore and the lake as well as the sunrises. The property is in a very quiet location outside the village and is suitable for those seeking peace and quiet who like to be surrounded by nature.
